Why are otherwise good members with good rep being driven to sign things that there actions do not warrant. I feel as if i am on probation on the weed growing site.


If you are a mod, you get a badge under your name. If you are a snitch, there is no badge.

This site added the rules and changed things pretty much overnight. Not so easy for everyone to jump on board and celebrate, especially since one of the best things about this place (before new rules) has been its relaxed attitude and the freedom to speak freely and just be ourselves…. which sometimes is abrasive, sometimes condescending but for the most part I think friendly and helpful.

Personally I think the forum MODS (FDD, Chiceh, Garden Knowm) did a great job of moderating the forum before all the rules. Things were handled in a relaxed manner on an individual basis. These 3 have good judgment and didn’t need a set of hard rules to know when to take action. I think this was a good method as it made us users feel free to be ourselves and it also made us view the mods as our peers… not here to ENFORCE the law… just to make sure when things got too out of hand they could pull the plug on a thread / user.

Now with these hard and fast rules and the (IMO) ridiculous “infractions” it feels more like a policed site as well as more of an us against them thing. I completely agree there should be no kiddie porn, spamming or blatant advertising of other sites here; again… the MODS already were monitoring that. I don’t agree with the rules about foul language or the rules about insulting other members. I don’t care if someone calls me a bitch… or worse… I’d rather know what someone is really thinking then have a sugar coated bland forum where we have to be so concerned with minding our Ps and Qs that we don’t get to just be ourselves.

Regarding advertisers…. Well my view on that is that the people that would advertise on this site are people in the growing community. I’m pretty sure they are companies run by people just like us. We are the very people who would be purchasing their merchandise…. I seriously doubt they care if we swear or throw a few insults around. It’s not like Pespi or Nike is going to advertise on a Marijuana forum… no matter how polite we are.

Lastly…. I have to agree with the others about GrowTech. Annoying and self-righteous is about how I’d sum him up. If we played the Sesame Street game of which one doesn’t belong: FDD, Chiceh, Garden Knowm, GrowTech…… I think it’s an easy call as to which one the users feel doesn’t fit in with the site administration. I guess he moderates chat…. so I know I will never go there as I could do without the holier than thou attitude. Am I a bitch for saying this? Probably…. But it’s how I feel and I’m nothing if not honest. If I get an infraction for speaking my mind… then so be it.

Tell them that my sensibilities were tarnished when i was forced to sign an agreement that my actions have not warranted. Gestapo tactics. And growtech is unbearable.

Speaking of good rep... 5 people gave me positive feedback and I got 3 points... how does THAT work ???????? If I was a suspicious person I'd take it as a warning ......

WHats annoying is that i have to agree to a set of rules that my actions in no way warranted.I act like an adult and expect to be treated as one.



I have my doubts as to whether many people tthat are currently active on this site smoke, let alone grow.
