Not as much as warranted to buy that lens for myself, but if one were to buy it for me... I had the 50mm 1.8 and traded it for a 35mm 1.8 and have missed the 50mm ever since. The 1.4 sounds nice but I doubt anything other than a computer program would notice much difference. So in closing, I'd take either.
