have you thought about tying a big loose loop around it and to the ceiling or something? I bet when she starts flowering shes gonna get heavy enough to bend herself right to the ground.

Ahhh, interesting thought. Might have to do that. Thx..

You know what's really interesting is that all the large fanners are now on underside of plant and bud sights all get good light. She is stretching now. I started this as sort of a joke, but it could end up being an ok yield.

I did this with a ww that wouldn't take my topping and got lost in the pack. I put a screen over it and just tucked until the stretch was over.. Turned out alright, ended up getting swallowed up by the others and not getting much light. I would suggest a support for the top tho..it will get heavy out there

21 days since flip.

This really isn't going that well. The plant is a pain in the butt to fit in the tent and it's tough to keep it weighed down and its difficult to take the plant out and the buds are really small and I just accidentally super cropped the top while trying to water her :)

All in all I just want to chop this thing. It'd be ok if it was flowering properly, but the bud growth is really slow. I can't see getting more than 1/2 oz or so. Not sure why that is. All conditions should be just fine other than she is laying on her side.

It's interesting to see in the photo that much of the bud growth is still near what would be the tip of the plant.
The secret to sideways plants is that you still need to keep it in the proper distance zone from the lamp. If for instance, it would have been three feet tall and it fell over and is now only six inches tall, then it needs to be raised up a couple feet.

Yea sunny it does seem to be budding more at the top(weird) but if it's not going to be very productive and it's started to NEED more than usual attention then .....Yes....I'm afraid I would be tempted to chop it.......it just seems to be counterproductive and I don't want you to feel guilty because of us guys ....so....it's up to you ........but whatever you do its been fun and at least we no now........

We don't know anything until he puts the plant up close enough to the light to do some good.

The whole point of shaping a plant like this is to get more of it in the zone of best distance from the bulb for optimal light.

I'll bet that with the lighting adjustment it will do just fine.

When training plants, squash the stem between the thumb and a finger. The plant will bend where you squash it, even if the stem splits it will be ok, we used to split them put rocks in the stems hammer nails into them trying to stress them out, it is a weed.

This plant has already fallen over on its side and he's attempting to grow it as a ScrOG in place.

Just in case someone saw it and wanted to bend theirs over, have seen alot peoplr stuff up a plant when trying to train them, and this technique will stop most of those. Will delete my post if thats a prob

If your plant is already flowering turning it sideways won't do much. You need all those weeks of vegging to get a bushy, monster plant.I had 3 7ft plants outside that I bent down to the ground. The stems split at the base of the plants, but they never showed any damage. Two were males so I ended up with one monster plant.

I had one fall over two weeks into bloom. It simply grew bus in the new direction... a whole carpet of them.

Yes, This was just an experiment. I had a tall plant and stuck her in the pot sideways. Next time I would vertical scrog. Way better use of space and light.

Lift the whole plant up so it's at the right distance from the light and you'll get a ScrOG result.

A big bud of mine fell over completely... At first I tied it back up until I saw exactly how much light she was taking from the whole canopy so I left her laying down and decided to do the same to the rest. Definitely more light penetration
