So how did u go about sealing your tent thinking of doing the same but all the research I done on says it can't be done effectively
Greetings Reggie! I didn't do any extra sealing to my tent what so ever. The gorilla grow tents really do an awesome job. What you need to make sure is that you don't have any positive air pressure (air going in and pushing the walls out) this will push all of your co2 right out your zippers and any way it can find a way out. That being said you can't have any negative pressure either (exhaust going out) ac inside, exhaust to vent heat so on and so forth that would be sucking walls in.
So what you'll need is a tent, sealed hoods, Sunsystem yeild masters is what I have, insulated ducting or condensation will build on your ducting and you don't want that.
I also run a dehumidifier not as much now that I have a mini split but it will keep my room within 3% of 65% humidity consistently. In a sealed room you have to have a dehumidifier of some sort.
Now with lighting in a 5x9 tent you have to have an ac on the outside of your room to lower ambient temps pointed directly at your intake for your air cooled hoods and run the ac exauhst running outside of the room. Or bite the bullet for a mini split. Best purchase I've made all year. If you have two 600s going full blast, an ac in the outside room will keep your tent at a consistent 85 degrees if set at 74. (Depending on room size obviously)
Any light over 1200 watts in this size tent temps will soar. I can have 3 600s going at the same time and keep temps at a steady 87 with my ac on the outside at 68. But to have all four going I had to get a mini split. 1k on eBay for a do it yourself pre charged mini split that took two hours to set up while taking my time and admiring my girls.
If you do all of this your humidity and temp won't vary from a 5% or 5 degree difference unless opened.
Now with co2 if you don't do all of this you'll have to refill your tank every 3 days. My record tank has now lasted me 18 days and for 10 bucks a refill to keep my room at 1500ppm is killer. It clearly makes a difference.
I think I covered everything haha if not let me know! Gorilla grow tents all the way!
Cheers y'all
