Ive never grown hempy, but my understanding of it is theres a rez at the bottom of the pot. Are the roots reaching it? I know in dwc you have to top water at first until the roots are long enough.I dont understand i came home from work to this i dont know why last feeding water and 1/4 20 20 20 hempy bucket 75 perlite 25 verm under cfl light bending?
He is growing in a plastic cup ATM, he has no res under them.Ive never grown hempy, but my understanding of it is theres a rez at the bottom of the pot. Are the roots reaching it? I know in dwc you have to top water at first until the roots are long enough.
The res in a hempy is the space between the holes and the bottom of the container. In the final container the holes are typically 2" from the bottom to allow the water to stay there and form a small res.He is growing in a plastic cup ATM, he has no res under them.
Im goin by what he wrote. I cant tell what the cup is sitting in, either way hes growing in perlite that hasn't been watered because he was working. The plant looks 2 maybe 3 days old, no real root structure yet and no leaves to store food and water in. Moving it closer to lights and fans is only going to dry it out quicker in my opinion, but like I said never used that method to grow, I could be wrong. He is growing in a plastic cup ATM, he has no res under them.
Hand water it until you see roots coming out of the bottom of the cup, or maybe raise the water level a bit. Next time start the seed in rockwool or add more vermiculite to the mix. Something that holds some moisture until the roots are established.Well its a hempy there is a rez inside the cup and the wilting is getting worse maybe should i put the lights a bit higher 4 23w 6000k cfl
