A New Grower

hi everyone
this is my first grow, i search online about how to grow cannabis and i give a try. i have 3 plants. now my plants are exactly one month old, here pic of them, as u see 3 of them are diffrent size, 100W flood led(white) but my plants was having trouble , leaf became yellow, and they stop grow, i can see definitly they not happy, as i search online i knew i need 200w atleast, so i decided to buy one more 100W led,, i tot gonna be enough for 3 plants, but my plants was still unhappy, i decided to buy lum meter, than i chek the lum(25.000) as i read online this lum is pretty enough, but why still yellow leaf, so i figur out i keep the lights too close to plants so i change i make it 10 cm distance,i also bought 180W 4 red 4 blue floresent light(is floresent blue and red is working as blue red led ? there is nothing abt it online, i think abt it by myself :p) than yellow gone but they are still not happy, so i decided to buy ph meter :) i check the soil ph, its 9.0, so now i know the problem, i change the soil, i could manage to make ph 6.0, during change soil some roots gone :(, but plants become so happy and they grow well and leaf become dark green but they not growing up, they keep staying same tall, and than i chek online randomly , i figur out problem is air bcos even window are close plants cant get fresh air,( fan are working well and placed it correctly) so i keep the door open and i bought an other fan, i place it near closet so can blow air to intake fun, i also bought humidifier, tempeture are24-28c, humidity 50-60, all is good now but why my plants are very diffrent tall ? and if someone can tell me what strains i have, indica or sativa ?
there are more things about my experince, so i hope to hear from u guys to discuss about all details
(sorry for poor english and mistakes)

Ok, so the yellowing was a potassium and/or nitrogen issue, likely due to over rich soil mixture and ph lockout. Of course root damage did not help either. Probably 2 reasons why they are short...A) they are shocked form the stresses they have had, B) LED lighting source...not that you cannot grow in LED lots of growers do it successfully. But, nature has a rule.. you can never have too much light. I am sure you keep your lights close to the plant (hence the bushiness instead of height).

But all in all great effort for a 1st grow. Keep reading, researching, and learning.

P.S. once you have some real knowledge you will no longer need to spend big money on toys and gadgets, your gurlz will tell you what they need.

i read online that keep led light 5 cm distance but i know it not for my led lights, maybe they was meaning for pro grow led light, bcos my led are simple outdoor led.

Looks like a hybrid, also i see your problems are not fix yet looks like a calmag issue, fix with straight water with calmag, epson salt, and molasses all at 1 spoon per gallon, repeat for a couple of waterings. GL

i chekced the hybird pic online, i find out that my plants are realy hybird, when they was younger they look exaclty the hybird pic i saw on websites. what a great expreince u guys got, hope to be same as u guys asap :)

I'm a newbie after a year of growing. I use the daylight CFL lights 100watt equivelent. The last word means you get 100watts of light at a low wattage pull to the light. Cheap on electrisity. That is the easiest way I found to produce sunlight without burning the plants to much if they get to close. I started with them because they are cheap. I also saw others using them. My profile picture. My first harvest dry cure since I started. Thats not all of it. I just use baby food jars to have a small amount here and there. I couldn't tell you the weight of this harvest because I am not going to buy a scale. Right now my nutrients comes from No sulfer molassies and agave syrup. Molassies has a lot of stuff the plants like. The agave is sugar from a plant. Your plant finds it and uses it for food. I sometimes put in some flower blooming fertilizer. Calcium mag there. I also have just regular 20-20-20 chemical fertilizer. I also have a product called Jobe organic enzimes. It turns regular soil into organic. I have also had success with soil that has time release nutrients in it. It worked too. I have grown many plants.

This is like learning a new language sometimes. You visit here use you tube. There is a lot of stuff out there to see someone doing. There is also vast amounts in here just waiting to be found. I would list all my mistakes but this post is long enough. MISTAKE. It's a word to find and be ok with. SLOW DOWN. An idea to save you. A lot of the time it doesn't need us. I see you have 3 now. I also see different pot sizes. As the size gets smaller your plants do as well. The pot you have the bigger one in. Use that size for the other two. The emount of soil needed will get larger. I do want to share this with you. I started with one I got from the very first time I ever planted a seed. To see it grow was like the greatest thing I ever saw. Weeks went by I planted another. Twice the amount. Then another till I filled the closet with 4 plants. They all stressed out. Did a hermafradite male/female bad plant. Take the big one and focus your thought there. Its not fun taking down 4 plants that didn't produce. Its fun as hell to take down one that produced. At this point read ask questions here and do research at other places. It will come. You just can't give up. Please don't give up.

actualy pot are same size, on photo it show like diffrent but green one is small, i change that from same size to this green pot bcos this plants was so small, was never growing , so i change with this pot to make better space for those 2 better one. i agreed with u i should focus better one, so one of the reason green pot is short bcos i keep it side, so other 2 could have better light.but now i see green also get better and growing faster than others, i feed it with leftover coffe as i read from a forum. my biggest problem of growing is being in china, i cannot find the product i need,bcos language barrier.

Actually that's not right. When using cfl, the equivalent number is useless.

You got to go by the first number.
