germinating in perlite vermiculite

When I first did it I did them at all varying depths, I would recommend 1/4" - 1/2"

When i did it at 1/2 inch i could see the roots when it germinated on top of the medium and it dried ou

Its not supposed to sit there forever, you gotta do something about it.
