Helped me as a noob to make sure I was giving approximately the same nutes every watering
I'm still a noob, but not so much a noob as to need a ppm meter.
If I ever do hydro, I'll keep a ppm meter clipped on my front shirt pocket though

Agreed, unless you're aquaponics. Then I use it not to grow, but for toxicity levels for my fish.

Agreed, in hydro a ppm meter is a necessity, EXCELENT grow!

Please don't jack my thread...I really want answers to this question. Some member of RIU is claiming that using PPM meter is a requirement to have a successful grow. I want too show that this is not so.

not at all. Sorry if my intention is misunderstood. I really want too know if I am alone in not needing various gadgets to grow successfully.
