mine was 40$ from walmart...and the string of lights were 1$ each from walmart.
i noticed they had smaller trees for 20$ too..

My artificial tree is gonna amortize out to two dollars per year if it lasts for one more year. If it lasts to 2028, it'll only be 1$/yr. It has LEDs already attached, but doesn't smell very spruce like, or appear real. It's over two feet tall, what more could a man want.

OCD. I love it! I'm the same way. I was gonna say very elegant tree. My mom was a control freak so I wasn't allowed to be creative with the tree growing up.Lol, thanks! I'm actually the one that does most of the decorating, the spacing of the ornaments drives me crazy otherwise.
and as I said I can respect the "correct" placing of the ornaments b/c it drives me crazy too,
but I decided from the time my kids were very small that they got to decorate the tree. Rare bit of parenting wisdom for my situation. But @420God that said, I sure do miss a gorgeous tree like that.
