Hey bro, I'm finally getting around to doing what I said. I put 3 in a paper towel today, hoping for 2 females but we will see. I'm using brand new Area 51 leds so we will see what they can do. Sorry it took so long, I didn't forget but the lights were back ordered like a month and I've gotten married etc.

No bro I started some pinkie pie also, hoping for some fems. Still have Krakatoa and shiatsu kush though. Next will probably be Krakatoa. Just wanted to run a quick batch of autos. Also I have a promise to keep lol.

That was actually a question I had would you reccomend 3 gal or 5 gal smart pots? I'll be using a thin layer of happy frog on top, with the rest of the pot being fox farm ocean forest so the plant won't burn and will have plenty of nutrients later. The nutrients will either be fox farm or the general line but I'm open to suggestions.

I would recommend 3 gallons for the IBL version of pinkie but if you've got crosses like from the amnesia you may want to consider a 5 gallon because they can get pretty big. That sounds good to me, they are mid-heavy feeders so I wouldn't worry too much about burn. fox farm nutes are pretty good but for the price not worth it IMO.
Personally I like the ol K.I.S.S method using 7grams of maxibloom(dry) per 1 gallon tap water and dissolved in a mason jar with hot water/ shaking for 5 minutes before adding to the watering bucket. Its cheap as hell and delivers very good results.
18/6 sounds like a good cycle, I dont care for 24/0 either its really expensive and lots of room for error since there will be at least a few hours of the day they are just under the hot lamps unsupervised.

Update day 29-30 (Month 1)
Everybody is growing very well, especially considering they are all cramped in these tiny ass little 1 gallon pots lol. I have noticed a lot of lower leaves starting to fall off this week and fungus gnats in my hood but nothing major and they still seem very healthy and happy. I like playing music a couple of times a day for them and just looking/blowing on them while I enjoy the music as well.

Yeah guy put the Amnesia x Pinkie Pie in 5 gal pots. Although out of 5 beans I popped, I ended up with 1 female, she was a queen! Nearly 5' and pretty purple buds. I'm guessing 4.5 - 5 oz dried. I have kept her as my private stash. Excellent smoke. I had to disappoint a buddy yesterday by not selling him any. I did turn him on to a nice bud.. My Cali buddy did very well with his breeding...

it depends on the cross you have but pure PP is really fast, some show sex in week 2-3

Resin and color!!!! getting the first real indications of how these girls are going to be turning out and in about 2 weeks Ill begin making selections and pollinating select females.
all of these pictures are individual and unique plants, no repeats
Ive been moving plants all around the room randomly so they grow relatively evenly so some of the CI are mixed in with the CH and vice versa.
Some pots hold 2-3 females and thankfully I didn't cull too harshly because some of the "not as strong" growers have frosty purple buds while there bigger, more vigorous counterparts are often green. this is something that breeding purple plants has taught me, more often than not purple plants from the same seed lot will often be slightly less (5-10%) less vigorous than there green counterparts on average. But this is just a guideline and not a 100% rule because every so often you get those purple monster haha I love those!

Male box Update
starting to select through these males, any that are particularly weak growing or solid green flowered plants are getting yanked especially because I already see 3 or 4 that look to be real good specimens.
here are some males closer up, as you can see some are very slow to flower while others are already getting chunky and colorful. the dark purple guy will most likely pollinate all my purple girls

With this particular male?? hes an auto from this F7 generation so no hes never bred before but he certainly will be in a week or so.
