I had a close call about 5 years ago when I had about 20 decent sized outdoor plants a month away from chop.. 2 choppers and a plane ..one chopper was so close to the ground in my yard I could have hit it with a rock. There were dozens of police cars and unmarked vehicles in my driveway and neighbors driveway on my street .. I thought for sure I was done... I had about 30 clones inside about 10" tall I ripped up n tossed out the window ..put the dogs in a backroom n waited for the police... They never came in, I found out a couple hours later a prisoner jumped out of a van n ran about a mile from my grow.... Some old lady that lived a couple houses down got scared n called 911 saying someone tried to get into her house..turns out it was her nephew.


This guy has got to be one of the biggest morons in Florida. Don't ever turn yourself in.

EDGEWATER, Fla. (AP) — A man who authorities say was growing marijuana in a central Florida storage unit panicked when he heard a police helicopter hovering nearby and called 911 to surrender.

The problem? Edgewater police officers were in the neighborhood Wednesday afternoon to investigate an unrelated suspicious death.

It was shortly after 12:30 p.m. when 47-year-old Jasper Harrison told the dispatcher he was "the guy" they were looking for, adding he wanted to come out without being shot.

Harrison told the dispatcher he wanted police to contact him.


An officer called and got directions to his storage unit. Police found 150 grams of cultivated marijuana and nine plants inside. Harrison faces charges of growing marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school and intent to sell. It's not known if he has a lawyer.

Dude, that is scary as shit! Our worst nightmare. I would have done the same as you, the relief that washed over you must have been unreal...

It was nuts man, I hadn't even thought about for a few years til I read that story.

The funny part was it was home that belonged to a relative that was Perfect for growing large scale..I'd asked 2 years in a row to grow a couple plants ... Denied both times, but the house was in foreclosure and They said sure the third time I asked .. They moved out a month before this happened but there was a huge garage in the back that they worked on cars... So as soon as all this started 6 dudes in separate cars all took off in cars..they thought what I thought n didn't want to get caught up in anything. Lol
