I really just wanted to know if you added zanex ( not specifically)...or any other things to your water and watered your plant, would it show up in the Nugs? ..... Not that I was going to try it. Just that I was curious if would soak up The drugs and show up in the smoke with different effects... I don't want to do or try it ...just wanted to know if it would actually happen or work...purely a question ......not trying to flavor buds..... Since growers here say that hard metals get into the bud/ smoke... Why wouldn't it work to put anything else in it ? This shit can get pretty deep, but search osmosis mate. This is how molecules are taken in by the plant. I have not studied enviro science, but did study human anatomy and physiology at uni. Processes are basically the same.
Basically anything too complex will be too big to pass through the channels in the membrane unless it's broken down. Bit like a coffee filter in that stuff small enough to pass through, passes through and the rest just bounces off. Molecules too big too pass through will just stay in the medium and ultimately add to the salt build up until they're flushed out or broken down into a permeable form. The damage they could cause in this time could be catastrophic if you were to say, try giving meth to yer plants. My money would be on the meth not being able to even get past the first membrane, sits in your roots and fries them like french fries within a matter of hours

It's actually a good question. If you can get stuff small enough to fit through a channel, be it at the roots or through the leaves, it will be "in the plant". What you can get through there and the effect it then has is way beyond the scope of my knowledge
I remember reading a while back people giving aspirin to their plants for some nutty virus I thought I had. Interesting the amount of people saying it helped the recovery (maybe just a placebo effect on the owners haha). Weed killer is another good example. The plant unknowingly sucks that in and is dead in no time from whatever the stuff does to destroy it. That's the down side. It's basically like flood gates and anything that can fit will fit and get through. There are gazillions of membranes in the human body, no idea how many plants have but there'd be a lot. Once they're through though (molecules, chemicals, parasites, viruses, etc...), it's game on.
