can handling weed make you test positive?

i was wondering if handling marijuana during harvest will make me test positive?i may be tested in a couple days and cant afford to fail.so if you can absorb THC thru your skin then i would need to buy some gloves.thanks
by the way i already googled this and got conflicting reports.some state that no THC doesnt absorb thu skin and some say that using marijuana as a salve instead of smoking it so im confused.

the only reason i wondered is cause thc is broken down in oils and fats and you have oils in your skin.also when handling weed the resin gets all over your hands so i just wanted to be safe.

You would have to handle tons of weed ( literally ) for thc to soak through your pores and be positive in a drug screen. Just like you would need to be in a closed chamber for second hand smoke to produce a positive effect on a drug screen.

Actually the answer is yes. If you went to do a UA and say you had just got through trimming a plant or 2 it would be possible to contaminate your collection cup. Resin is not easy to get off your hands. Even normal alcohol won't remove it. 180 proof will cut it but normal 80 proof won't cut it.

So if your saying it takes hard alcohol to get it off what makes you think it would come off and contaminate the piss cup....... Is he going to be holding a fifth of grain while he pisses?

ok thanks.actually its not for probation,but for pain management.on another note does anyone know if i went to get a med card in oregon and saw someone at the thc foundation would they forward the records to my doctors ofice?or do they not notify my pcp?

Are you eating it? No you will not test positive you would really have to rub the oil all over your body.

You can fail a UA if you handle marijuana. I did. I hadn't smoked in 8 months, so that wasn't a factor. I had harvested a day before a UA....yes, I failed. So I would say yes is the answer to your question.

I was not around dope in any form for 8 months, besides my crop.....this was about a year ago, and after I failed I did research it on the internet and what I read is that the thc did soak into my pores....But no, I am a lot of things, but a bullshitter is not one of them.
