I own a small dispensary and would like to start growing rather than buying the meds for it. I was thinking about purchasing one of these tent kits because I feel they would help me start off since I'm so new to growing and a lot of it(I know not all) seems pretty automated.

1. Has anybody used one before and is willing to share there experience/knowledge

2. What type of total dry yield could you expect with this particular kit(assuming I don't make any mistakes) and if there is another system that would be better if your focus is weight for dispensary patients

Lighting:4-1000w HPS bulbs/ballasts

Hydroponic system:24 site bubble flow buckets

Add on's:
Co2 kit
Reverse Osmosis Water Filter
24-7 Nutrient Meter

I realize these tents are real overpriced but depending on what you could yield I feel you could potentially get your investment back

I use tents but I grow in soil.

Why is that? I assumed the bubble flow bucket system would be better for the plant just based on how much more complicated it is and I heard commercial growers almost always use ebb n flow systems so I figured they help with yield

You should just stick to buying buds off professionals. If your weeds wack nobody's going to go to your shop... When you buy you get to pick and choose. Nobody wants to buy a first attempt at homegrown from a dispensary. Equipment, nutrients , energy, time. And at the end who knows what you'll get. It's a huge gamble and the odds are super stacked against you. You start small use 1 or two lights to begin with..no sense in using so many lights and paying huge bills if you don't know if you can produce anything with them. .

No doubt about it. I grow in soil because I am new to growing. After doing tons of research, I concluded that soil would be less complicated for a new grower, me. I do plan on switching to a hempy bucket style of growing after the holidays and my current grows in soil are finished.

With a kit like that people would probably vegg for 3 weeks to a month. That tents made for 600s. 1000 watts will be to much of a heat issue. Either way your going to need an air conditioner on when those lights are on, And they still need to be air cooled. Plus an exhaust. Tents suck big time, Most good growers with experience will pull about 20 to 24 ounces per 1000 watt or about a pound per 600. In that tent if you used De lights and had a strain you were familiar and comfortable with you can possibly pull two pounds per light.. giving you a total 8 lbs in about 3 months (that's professional level shot though) . Since your a noob it would be a huge accomplishment to finish without killing your plants.. especially in hydro.

I hear you. That's why I was thinking the tent would be a good tool. It seems pretty automated so to me I feel like there's not a lot I could mess up as long as I set every thing right and watch out for pests and diseases. Am I wrong? Like I said I'm new to this so Idk

You're not wrong but your not right. It might be something that comes naturally to you it might not.. you gotta try it and find out. It's like shooting a basketball, seems simple but a lot of people couldn't make a shot to save their lives.

What kinda lights are you planning on using? Tents suck ass, they get way to hot. In hydro that's probably gonna be a problem. I know you gotta keep that water a certain temperature. Throw frozen drinks in the rez I guess. You should Start with soil imo. You'll have a better chance of finishing.

Must be an East bay thing. Temps are lovely in my tent in the peninsula.

You're not wrong but your not right. It might be something that comes naturally to you it might not.. you gotta try it and find out. It's like shooting a basketball, seems simple but a lot of people couldn't make a shot to save their lives.

I know I might be sounding arrogant sorry if I am but with this tent wouldn't I just have to make sure temps, ph, and humidity are right and the plants get the recommended amount of light during veg and flowering and are getting enough nutrients and look out for spider mites? Or is it more to it than that?

I was planning on the 1000w just so I can get more product. They come with air cooled reflectors and fans I figured that would be enough

How's your tent in the summer?

It definitely took time to get it under 80 degrees. I ended up decreasing my 8'x4' tents from 2000w to 1600w with a nice little ac unit too lol,

That's not bad, Manageable.. tents are a necessity if you don't have a whole room to grow in.. kinda retarded if your just putting them into an empty room with an empty closet.

I'm not sure my temps don't dip lower then 66. They say you want 10 degree swings between day and night. But the plants are strong I'm sure some genetics will run into problems before others do. I would just let it ride and see what happens.. but I grow personal you can't do that stuff if it's your main source of income....

Nah, I would get shot if I sold my product to anyone lol. I still have not produced anything high grade yet but I am confident that this harvest will be different. Lucky for me, I have access to other peoples grows and get it extremely cheap this time of the year. Not my main source of income but I could definitely live off it.
