exhaust is exhaust, a filter is a filter.....if your not grasping that you need to do alot of research befpre attempting to grow

typically your exhaust system has one or more filters.....

i normally dont run carbon filters. and have had cops, landlords, inlaws whatever stop by unannounced

if your good, they really shouldnt smell much till harvest.. do that at 3am lol

the volatile compounds are trapped behind a waxy trich head, as long as your temps are in control, your plants happy, and you dont rupture any througj movement and what not..little is released
Way back when, when I didn't know any better
That's quite the statement.

I know people that pull over a pound per plant indoors, consistently.
What strain, what method, how long? I just don't see that you can get 16 dry zips out of 1 plant indoors. 6- 8 zips per, if your good with a big producer, OK, but I just never after growing for 20 years have NEVER come close to that claim. Hard to believe in my opinion.

Per plant? Scrog? Hydro?

The one guy does huge pots, huge plants, one plant per 1000w and gets at least 1# per plant. At least! But his plants are bigger than me. This guy does very long veg, probably over two months.

My other buddy does scrog with medium sized plants, 2plants per scrog, 5x5area, 1000w DE over them, plants were in 15gals I believe, his last run was over 2lbs out of those 2plants, that doesn't include the trim.

My last run I only had 3plants in 10gals and I got over 2lbs, and I'm not even that good at growing yet.

from a new perspective, he appears the troll.. go smoke something homie
(hondagrower)

house ac isnt enough for that..
i promise.

even if you run insulated ducting from vent to lights, have excellent airflow etc.
i dont know the terms, but i have two of those big acs that sit outside on the concrete slab. one for downstairs one for up. one is dedicated to my grow and will handle a 600 in veg plus 3, 1ks
thats it and it stays about 80° ambient.

i do live in tx, and sometimes its rather hot lol..if you were in a normal state where it freezes in tje winter, i could see that..especially if your pulling air from outside

this is what you want... 2, 36000btu mini split

you can see the 2 in this bottom pic

good shit

shout out to ma boy twitch right quick..
How did you upgrade your electricity to run that many watts? Did you call the eletric company (probably stupid question) or did you or someone you know re-do the electric panel?

I'd rather not say where but I would think you(not being a newbie) would know that there's normally more than one person working at a shop and there's people who test the meds and others who handle the business side of it and a bunch of other jobs for other people and I did say I was a newbie that's why I'm posting under "newbie central" and if I have questions on multiple topics I'll post multiple threads and there weren't the same one was about a grow tent and the other I deleted
Since u dont know anything about growing u most be getting robbed by ur employees, since u dont know anything about yields and quality, they can tell u the plants yielded less than it actually was, and that they have to trow away others for the bad quality genetics when it was actually dank and they yielded 3 pounds and only reported 1. Lol. Its like running a construction business and actually dont know anything about construction, material, prices, expenses and profits.. GL

I think it all boils down to canopy control. If you can keep as much of the canopy as possible at the ideal distance from the light, and also obviously keep the plants alive and happy, then the plants will produce as much as they can.

Also, obviously genetics play a role. The guy who got over 2lbs from a 5x5 and two plants was growing GG#4 x Querkle male.

The other guy, with the MASSIVE plants, grows things like GG#4, Sour Diesel, SSH, Dairy Queen, all known clone onlies, all known yieders.

We seem to be on the same level. I saw you cost per gram on another thread . I did my math and averaged 30 cents a gram.

Veg is the key there. I'm just getting into larger Scrog plants. I used to run sog but I wanted a better yield.

I'm making my move to hydro to further cut down on my veg time.

SOG will sacrifice a bit in yield but should make up for it in reduced veg time, you should be able to fit another rotation in per year. So over the year, the SOG should win in terms of yield, no?

I started off with bigger plants, but I'm moving towards more numbers of smaller plants, less veg time.

I would ask your methods. It's very possible.

I'm guessing there is a sweet spot. I like taking care of less plants.

6-12 per light in a 5x5 is what I like. Just because different strains.

I might try sog with some dwc totes but I like the idea of bigger roots bigger fruits.

I hated vegging in soil. Very slow imo. The reason I did sog. As I got better my veg picked up but still to slow. Hydro is a different story, fast growth.

Sog is also better for mother/clone perpetual. I'm getting a big ass turbo klone so I might be making the move back to sog.

1. We normally get meds from independent cultivators or people in the collective who grow. Not employees and 2.if we have always bought meds then flipped it why tf would I know what SEED genetics are? Just because somebody owns a restaurant doesn't mean they know how to cook. And there's a difference between "running" a construction company and "owning" a construction company

Most be low odor strains, because when i didn't use carbon filters as soon i opened the door of ma house i could smell the weed like ma nose was right on top of a bud, and ma house is 3 floors and they where in the basement. If i dont have a filter in the 2nd week of flower ma hole house stinks..

ummmm no... and they stink to high heaven after trim and cure. healthy plants dont emit much odor. and i know a few experienced growers and have smelled their rooms who say exactly the same... ive been doing this for quite a while so maybe that helps

i have 60 cheese, chemdawg, master kush x with Chem, blueberry og and a hazy catpiss thing (in a tester room)
In another area I have cheese (that's dinafem btw) tga the flav and deep purple, sin cities alien nightmare and an alien x train wreck, sin cities The rem,
Aliens on moonshine.
Fire alien master and white from og rascal (i have alot of alien and white going..love that shit)
Mothers milk from bodhi
Aspirair from... shit i just blanked. rare dankness?

you can see what i like to smoke lol..lots of sour and funk but not exactly low odor strains, and are decent genetics imo...maybe not the best but come on.
to be clear, i pull weight. i need atleast 20lbs every 2 weeks just for my boy in san marcos

this isnt movie and dream talk either, i have a fair bit of credibility on rollitup

my landrace sativas are fairly low odor, but tje same applies and they end up dank
