ok so like the tittle say's. i am new to the outdoors and wanted to know 1 question.

when plants in ground how many gal's of water would ur plant need to feed just one plant

example. a 5-10gal hole i know the seedling would not be much but when ur full flowering how many

gallons of water would it need. have windy days so i know i might have to water often but i just wanna

know how many gallons i gotta carry to it to...i do indoors and ill avg for a 3 gal pots about 1gal of water

I gave a 10ft tall tree about 1.5 gallons every 4-5 days if it didn't rain and it yielded roughly a pound. Hope that helps

How much/how often do you all water your monster plants?

Two years ago I did an outdoor grow with 200-300 gallons of soil and only gave 4-6 gallons of water every day during the peak season which I now know was no where near enough, thank God we got a lot of rain to help with my lack of watering/knowledge that year.

So for plants started 2-3 months early and given 200-300 gallons of soil + plenty of sunshine, roughly how much do you/jj & them give your plants?

You would need to check your drainage of your ground/soil/dirt dig a whole in the same area same size as what the plant is in and poor water in and watch and see how long it takes for water to be gone. Like a sponge can only absorb so much and its done maximum capacity.

see i just plan on making a more fixed hole we have alot of clay and i dont plan on mixing that in im just going to make a 5-10gal hole and pour in my soil mix and let the seedling fill it up and battle threw that clay if it wants but yes that is a good way to tell can take sometimes if u have alot of clay like i do xD ty again

I let the water seep out the sides with that much but a 2 gallon minimum water daily is needed but these are in 15 gallon pots don't forget

are those fabric pots are above ground...i dont like fabric cause it drys out way to fast indoor and out door's as well from my exp but not talking down they still worked just perfect good plant health in em.. just to each their own type of thing

Are you in the ground, or Smart Pots?
I'm in the Sierra foothills where 100+ degrees temps in the are very common. I grow in 200 gallon smart pots and I water 15-20 gallons a day per plant. During VERY hot spells I'll water another 10-15 gallons on top of that.

Clay drains REAL slow, if the plants were huge (1 lb plus) You could get a way with 10 gallons two times a week with no rain, obviously if you doubled that..your yield would increase substantially.

to the clay yes this is true and that's why ima make like outdoor hempy pot cause of the slow drainage i was gonna put rocks at the bottom for drainage space and make a 5-10 gal hole and fill with my soil mix and see how big it turns out im not looking for massive buds just to grow also mulch on top soil

Better off going deeper than wider. U can mix in water crystals too if its going to real dry.

I've never used mulch... I dig em deep 3-4' and 14-18" wide.. I grew in Illinois in gorilla patches here n there its all red clay and dont drain for shit .. But its good if u dig a big hole n toss in fox farms..its like a giant clay pot.. Just don't fill your hole up all the way..leave like 2" lower than surrounding ground so all your water goes into your hole only..no spillage or runoff.
