IS IT NORMAL FOR A PLANT TO GROW THIS MUCH???

Okay so I put my two plants to 12/12 about 3 weeks ago my one plant danky doodle is a nice size that I was hoping both would be at 2.5 feet. but my other one is still growing and is at 4 feet (cyber crystal) the cyber crystal is in a 5 gallon pot and danky is in a 2 or 3. I knew the one in the 5 gallon would be alittle bit bigger but I didnt think it would be this big! if it helps the 4 foot one started showing sex a few days later.
Oh and it still has no flowers, my small one has good amount of bud on it... im so confused and don't know what to do I cant raise my light any higher
150 watt HPS

I put them to flower at 7 inches

Hi. The 15 watt is too low for growing. Try to find any way to get higher watts of HPS or your plant will grow very slowly.

the bigger the root base the bigger the plant. use all same size pots. strain also plays a roll some strech more when flipped. id use all 5gal pots.

Hi I just found out its sativa dom, the seed bank must of sent a wrong seed or something because I ordered a heavy indica. Im now just realizing that its sativa because I took longer to start flowering and is now almost 5 foot tall, hopfully it will stop because I noticed buds forming. its really tall and has finger like leaves. oh well never smoked sativa before just heavy indicas..

how far away from the top of the plant were you keeping the light as it grew to this height?

You've really never smoked a sativa? No way lol! It does sound like you have a sativa dom. You can tie the ends down with some type of string, if you get more tops that get too high, tie them down also.

I was going to do that but my space is really small and just fits her I have no room to tie down so I hope she stops growing. if I do find a way to tie her down will it stress her? because I noticed that she started to flower.she grew another 3 inches last night.

If you tie her down too much at one time in flower (snap or kink branches) yes it will stress her for a day or two, usually they dont miss a beat but im not going to say that lol. if you only have a single top, just tie it down a little at a time (every other day) untill she stops stretching so much. If you let her get tall she's going to grow into the light and end up shading your indicas. If you don't want to tie down i think the only other option would be give her more blue light.

If all the canopy is heathy and bushy, top the plant, cut it half way down, only the top 10 inches will give you bud on the plant a large tall plant under a 150w is just going to give you problems and waste enegy, if you run out of height how can you add a more powerfull light lol

this is you only choice anless you have got space to do super crop or lst but its a higher risk imo
