im going to take tropicalcannabispatients advice and flush it with water the give it a light feeding and mist its lower leaves with a mixture of epsom salts and water.
I was going to recommend 50-100% runoff-flush feeding mild nutes.

Yes, it sounds like no runoff was a problem. I always encourage 20-30% runoff to avoid salt buildup if the grower overfeeds, which is common for new growers.

To answer your question, it's not necessarily "underwatering" to get no runoff. But, runoff lets you know that you saturated the whole container and there aren't dry spots.

How much runoff is a different topic. For a new grower, 20-30% is good to do to avoid problems. Monitoring runoff ppms can help you dial in the strength fed versus amount of runoff you'd like to have. In this manner you can dial in a strength/runoff which won't buildup salts in the soil, and then give up PPM testing.

In a perfect world you could feed precisely the amount of food the plant needs, and have one drop of runoff.

I overfeed a little and do 20% runoff as a practice because I think my plants like it better. It's like wiping the unused (and potentially unbalanced) nutrients off the plate and giving some rebalance to what's available to the plant. Best of both worlds, I think.

Good luck and Merry Christmas.

Thank you a lot.
I know i dont over feed nutes. In fact again i may not have fed enough. About every three weeks i feed it a half litre of water mixed with a pinch of 20 20 20 all purpose water soluble fertilizer. hey its my first attempt. Theres buds...trichomes, and its still going so i wont complain too much. Happy holidays!!!

If a flush helps, that would be indicative of overfeeding. But, you may have only needed a little runoff (5% of container size) to avoid this condition.

If you get a ppm meter ($15-25 US on Amazon) you can use it next time to monitor your runoff ppms and try feeding more, detecting what is excessive before it turns into buildup, or how little runoff you need. You can calibrate the HM models using 1g table salt dissolved in 1 L distilled water (makes 1000ppm). It's not a high-maintenance device like a pH pen. It's handy to have if you try other nutrients, it can help you see their strength before using.

Research is MANDITORY. Consistency isnt an enemy. Simplicity and patience are key strategies. The bright face has betrayed you and the judges have went lenient on you. Shes hurting intensly. What i would do with her is first and foremost FLUSH and after you flush her let her dry out for a week with loyalty and do NOTHING BUT JUST THAT. During her drying period, be lifting the pot to see how light she becomes. Put her back under 18 hours of veg. Its over with for flowering and yeilding anything. She has too many deficiencies and you wont do nothing but kill her with other issues trying to find or pin point the main problem. You want flush her thourougly with good drainage. Then switch her back to vegitation stage. Allow her to dry and be looking for new growth. Remove all leaves that will not contribute or collect. All dead leaves. Also i believe whatever that 20-20-20 is sounds like death to a plant. For one an NPK like that is sure death. Thus too much nitrogen during flowering stage. Thats mainly where the conflict came from. Thus no ph regulation... And watering you say... every 3weeks YIKES. Thats almost like a month with no water. Thats not good for anything living. Get you some more seeds. And seed starter soil. Plant them a little below the surface and let them or it grow freely for the first two weeks in a party cup for a nice root system developement. Then from the party cup to a one gallon pot in a next step strength of the same brand of soil. And sit back and watch a comfortable veg stage till youre ready to flower. This is what i would do.IMG_20151221_232028.jpg IMG_20151221_232020.jpg IMG_20151221_164625.jpg I put these up so you wont lose heart. And so you can stay motivated. Once you get it you wont let it go. The same as once you go Black youll never go back. But these are my babies at this time. My oldest one you see, I burned her at 4 days testing... Took her a month to shake it off. Im only giving you my experience. The Gardian...

I water about every three to four days about a half of litre of water. It has been twice that my leaves started to droop because of being so dry. But after watering, it was fine.
Half liter every few days? Are you watering to the point of run off. That little of water they can dry out to much. The soil becomez hydrophobic. The soil gets dry pockets that aren't taking water.

water with twice the pot size.

FWIW: She said every 3-4 days.

I've seen many people claim to grow (or advocate growing) with 1-1-1 NPK ratios. If you want to debate that we should go to the nutrients forum.
About every three weeks i feed it a half litre of water mixed with a pinch of 20 20 20 all purpose water soluble fertilizer. I mis understood this..

Now debating I dont do that. And i never judged advice of anyones.
I was just commenting on the "sounds like death" remark. I agree 1-1-1 can be improved upon. (My ratios are in my signature.). But, death? I thought I had tuned into a telenovela. :)

There are people who grow 1-1-1, or advocate it as a safe thing for new growers to do. I believe it can be improved upon. But, it's far from certain death.

You guys are helpful for sure... But my wisdom overides prolonging. Once i understood she had no reading meters no ph down or up no consistant water and feed schedule i gave her the next best advice that i know works.

I usually use the 5-5-5... And she used the 20-20-20. I was so interested in trying to give some advice that i missed that.. Hey and i stand to be corrected you know. Besides im sober :( no meddies. But i understand now. Before you stone me let say thanks first..lol

a pinch of 20/20/20 in a half litre of water sounds like quite a bit. Especially with brown well water and no run-off. Hope you figure it out soon!

I have a spreadsheet for that. Taking "a pinch" literally (1/16th tsp), and assuming 1tsp of her fertilizer weighs 5g[1], that is 160'ish PPM in 1 liter of water. (I'm feeding MiracleGrow at 350-380ppm).

[1] I have two MiracleGro products which weigh 3.6-3.8g/tsp.
