Hello all,

I'm growing Vision seeds White widow auto. The plants been growing for 23 days, and is not showing any signs of flowering. Currently the plant is planted in soil, started at 20/4 light cycle, currently at 18/6 light cycle.

23 days seems a bit long for a autoflower to not start flowering. At what point would you consider switching the lights to 12/12. All advice is welcomed.

the zig zag growth in the first pic is it getting ready to flower ....... most widows and northern light auto's ive grown from various breeders all seem to take longer ..... if week 6 rolls around and still not making some buds id hit it with some bloom feed and flip the lights and then flip back to 20/4 after it starts to flower ..... for whatever reason some auto's need a kick in the ass

I broke down and put my vegging trainwreck (literally) under a box at day 43 as to not bother the others with 12/12

I have one crystal meth at day 31 and haven't start flowering yet, but i saw something today that looks like a preflower., be patient grasshopper they will flower, also in regards of light schedule triggering flower in autos is not true, thats why they are called autoflowers, their flowering period is not triggered by changes of light schedule's they will flower automatically, but like others sed once in a while they need a little push, when their genetic side is more photo leaning than ruderalis, in other words when they are more photo dominant, when their sativa or indica side is more dominant. @tropicalcannabispatient

they take longer under low watt lights
I figure as much but i have another auto flower (speed seeds auto blueberry) thats in a smal pot. I started it at the same time but is already a week and a half to 2 weeks into flowering so i got a bit concerned. Another concern is the amount of grow space in a smaller box.

Welp she still hasn't flowered so i'm going with your advise and kicking her to 12/12 for a week to see what happens, than possibly switch her back. For white widow (supposedly an indica dominant strain) she's as much stretching if not more than the Amnesia haze auto i've grown. I've been tieing her down like crazy trying to preserve grow space.

On the other hand the Tiny auto blueberry im growing is as bushy as can be. Started a week before the white widow and its well into flowering.

i would just let her do her thing it really looks like flower will kick off any day now .... if its stretching its prolly the " preflower stretch " its hard to tell but almost looks like she's building some budsites already

What's up bro I popped two autos from the dirt on Dec 3 a H.S.O UK K Cheese and a ILGM Super Skunk. They are 27 days old the Cheese has been flowering for a week the Skunk hasn't flowered at all yet. They are squirrelly little bastards and do what ever they want they are more in control over themselves than you are. Just keep the lights at 20/4 watch the nutes less is defiantly more when it comes to autos. This is my first auto grow also but have gotten stellar info from people n

Appreciate the advise. One last question I already kicked her to 12/12 24 hours ago. I was planning on keeping her on 12 hrs of light for a week to jump start the flowering process as you had previously hinted to. After a week or so if i set the lighting back to a traditional light cycle for autos (18/6 , 20/4, ect) Will this have any negative impact on the plants/flowering process?
