So i just got my package from an Aussie led company containing most of the parts i need. I need to know though about how to control tham milliamps
its max 2.2 milliamps output of 2 amps with other cables for dimming.
How do i set the milliamps to 1.8 amps?
its a inventronics Led driver 156volt model eud-240s220dt

Why isn't there One thread, saying "This brand has been rated by most our users as BULLSHIT, this brand too, this brand too, This brand is Ok people are happy...etc... "... Instead I see mostly back n forth shit on the lights by people who know wtf they're talking about, and people who don't know a damn thing. Clouding up a thread with good n bad. Maybe I'm ranting here but I just wanted to recommend someone make a thread like that it'd be incredibly helpful, if that is the intent...

if i run it as is will cree 3070's handle 2 amp input?
I found out the driver was preset to 1400 milliamps by the distributer so alls good. and realized max amps is 2.8 for these leds anyway so 2 would be ok anyway just too much juice for my needs. and no need to dim.

I think part of the reason is, it seems to be a matter of finding the correct emitters. Most of the brands like Go Green, Johnson, Heaven Bright, seem to all use some variant of the Vero or COB emitters. Then it's jsut a matter of which one do you want, and how much do you want to spend.

I'm probably missing a few things, but that's my takeaway. Personally, I poorly researched and went with a KindLED L500. Mostly because GrowersHouse testing showed it to be a pretty good light compared to the others they sold. So that's what I got. Then I read about folks who have emitters die on them after 11 months, or shorter periods of time. I've had mine for about 6 months. So far, I like it, but I'm pretty sure that there are much better light systems out there. Personally, I've got my eye on the HeavenBright Mothership with the Crees.

Check out Area 51. Have been happy far with all of my lights. Returned my kind 750 before the free 90 day trial was up becuSe two lights burned out. Definitely better light penetration and much less heat.

Man, that's rough. My, excuse me, L3 K600 hasn't burned out any emitters and no issues with heat. For me, the drawback to the Area 51 is that multiple lights have to be purchased. Part of me prefers the idea of just having a single fixture to deal with. And they're always out of stock. =( I would definitely consider one for my veg tent after the upgrade though. It would be cheaper than a air cooled reflector, and fan, to go with the ballast I've already got laying around.

Yea word seems to have gotten around quick with Area 51 and they sellout quick. I'd prefer multiple lights vs one large panel. If one light goes out you can keep growing while you get it repaired.

Easier to make adjustments to customize footprint to your needs of the moment with more small units. There may be times when the pattern may be narrow or long or l-shaped or smaller. Plants may be tall and short and a51 w90s can be joined if you like.

Much easier to hang/move 5 or 7 pounds twice or three times than one big heavy fixture. You can fool with your spectrum by having lights of different spectrums. Some get a better discount with multiple units.

Don't forget about optic. The 120w has really impressed me also. Company says 16" above canopy but it will take up to 20" nicely with more coverage. W90s need to be 8" to10" but they spread intensity very quickly in a wide circle and must be awesome in multiple units. Flat canopy ideal.

Some prefer one to the other. 3000k may give a bit more bulk. I like to play so mixing is fun for sum. Either or both. Which can you get sooner? One in the house is better than one "not here yet" every single time.

Luckily, not in any rush at the moment. Have a little time.

Tasty seems worth checking also. Seems to be a lot of value for money spent and Rahz lives here. Biggest chore may be finding a first rate cob grow light anywhere in stock, ready to ship, especially in smaller lights.
