Once Iraq was stabilized, secured against the daily suicide attacks in markets and such, Bush established cultural, economic, free market security and stability in Iraq, handed a stabilized country over to Obama who then failed in certain agreements, pulled out more troops than what's in Korea, Germany and such, traded traitor Bergdahl for terrorists, let terrorists out of Gitmo who are now on the terrorist battle field and enabled ISIS to rule in the place of stability.
Read the last couple of chapters of Charles Krauthammer's book, "Things That Matter". He puts it all together from the invasion to how Obama has fucked up the entire Middle East. He articulates who the key players were, the deals made, the deals that should have been executed but never were, the failure to act, etc.

The whole point that even Bush 1 used as a reason to not take out Saddam was the fact of destabilization regionally AND the FACT that we would have been stuck over there in a MAJOR way with boots on the ground and the huge financial burden it put on us....How many billions did Halliburton "steal" from the Fed? How many went out to swindling locals?
So you would have our son's and daughters still out there dying for what? A non stable "stability"? We would be stuck there overseeing the country for decades to come!
The facts are WAY clear on this one.....There were NO weapons of "Mass Destruction"! Chaney knew that and still sold it to the moron Bush 2 (Even his FATHER B1 said he was wrong for invading!) and then to everyone else with the help of CIA cronies! To the rest of the free world too! Their pissed over that one still...If the invasion never happened - we would not even HAVE an Isis!
Let me clue you in on something here.....The last thing we need now or in the future is having troops mired down in large numbers in overseas countries spreading our defensive capabilities out over large area's and not having the ability to respond to a REAL crisis in a timely manor.....Russia, China and N. Korea would love that!
What we did do by having this little "war" was to play into the hands OF Iran, by destabilizing the REGION! And I mean a whole big region. The "Arab Spring" that started in Tunisia and toppled Governments in Libya and Egypt (just to name a few) lead to a "fallout" that then became an Arab winter with the start of the civil war in Syria. At first it appeared that this maybe a good thing but,,as usual,,Our dreams became nightmares that opened the door to so many differing radical Islamic views that we have the radical Islamist terrorist groups we have today! In the exact area's WE lead to destabilization BY removing Saddam! It is MOST likely NONE of this would have happened if we let that go!!!!
Oh, and btw. WE began the worlds heroin epidemic by NOT stopping the local Afgan's from growing poppies again (The Taliban forbid it by the Muslim law of "You shall not produce anything that will "hurt" other humans {even non-Mulims}!) !!

Ever heard of Khalkhin-Gol? The Battle of - 1939?
The Japanese were into Russia in what had been "border conflicts" starting to be serious in 1938.....In 1939 the Japanese had settled in an area around a bend in the KhalKhin - Gol (Gol is river in Russian) around 10 miles inside Russian territory. With tit for tat battles beginning in May of 39 with defeats for both sides rising from ambush's and head on attacks.
The Soviets dispatched then "ComCor" (Core Commander) Georgy Zukhof to the region to sport the problem out. Zukhof brought in air support. In June the Japanese (actually their allies the Manchucoans) took the offensive and sent the Japanese air core in and destroyed a Soviet air base...
In August the Japanese took the offensive and crossed the river to the North and established a bridge head. Zukhof responded by massing forces including Trucks, Armor, and Artillery (The first MASSED arty attack that the Russian's later adopted as their "first strike" of an attack) and attacked from the south. While this surprised the Japanese commander of the rear guard it quickly became a stalemate.
Zukhof then pulled in more armor etc. and in short finally won. Forcing the Japanese out for the rest of the war.
The point is this. If Hitler knew this was going on it would have been the GOLDEN opportunity to invade from the east and dispatch the now very thin force's in the Soviet east as most were sent west.
The other is that if the Japanese HAD won the day. When Hitler did attack it would have been MUCH shorter and we most likely would all be speaking German and Sieg Heil-ing everywhere.
Never open yourself to protracted multiple front force deployment in the big world.....Your "neighbors" could come knocking just when you don't want them to!
