CFL, All the way through marijuana's grow

Pure sun light goes straight threw tha foliage, U can't get that no matter what.U just take the big leaves, so the BULB light get to.

Taking fan leaves is retarded. That is what makes buds.

And if cutting them off works show me some pics of a plant you've grown and cut the leaves off.

real nice, CFL grows with the best resin, I'm thinking about replacing the pear because I accidently dropped the pot, I have two autos from seedsbank A Critical Matic and a Gum, they're all mostly indica so I'm putting on some Ravi Shankar a couple of times a day.

Is going to out yeild this? To put it in perspective. You have a five gallon bucket. Mine are planted in 7.5 gallon buckets. Mine is a 2x4 that will be packed with bud.

I know that bigger pot bigger root system, I'm not growing for a medal.My stuff does the same thing. Works on injuries, to what ever part if the body. I grow for personal, not gain!

You don't have to be a out gain. Its about saving money. More medicine in a grow equals less grows.

Anyways man the thing is quit giving advice when you are struggling to grow. Go read up on some botany and basic plant biology and you will understand why cutting leaves off is bad.

For a small grow or personal u don't need to spend all that money, I my stuff does same things. Urs does, I grow for pain that's why I have short plants, their old, I've maid their potency strong, my people, pass out on my couch, am I doing something wrong? I could go out an buy the best lights, all the gaggets, that would B great, If I was in it for the. So I'm wrong, I must B Doin Sumin right. If customer are released from their pain I've accomplished what I've set out to do. happy growing

OK, lets see u true. 3.5 wide, 4 long, 6 high, Box, estimate roughly 20 sg.ft. oscillating fan, 2 intake fans, 1 outlet fan, 180cfpm. 30,1600, lumens total-48000lumens. I top, LST, crop, S/crop, clone, bubbler, aquarium, dirt. Pure Organic soil, make own soil. I'm willing to listen.

I would fill it with five gallon buckets. Put a scrog screen above them and weave new growth through it. No trimming. Keep adding lights as they are cheap at wal mart.

Look at scrog. Look at the link in my SIG. 4ft 8 bulb t5ho that I got for $100. Its 40,000 lumens. I estimate with my 2x4x6 I will pull a pound dry.

Scrog keeps canopy flat and even for better penetration. You let the buds pop through and tuck older bigger leaves under the screen.

Super cropping isn't good for all strains. I mainly use it outdoors.

For the price of those CFLs you could get a 600 watt switchable mh/hps with both bulb and a digital dimmable balast. Little over a hundred on amazon.

With cfl you can't just add the lumens up. It doesn't work like that. You can only add where the light actually over laps. So once the bulb are further than a few inches apart the lumens drop and don't add together.

You have to look at the footprint of each bulb and where they over lap. If you held a lux meter under your lights you would see what I mean.

I'm in progress of getting hps, Lowe's has setup fixture,45$w/balist build in, bulbs all they have 350watts, 2 should B good, no? I know its for outside growing, but I'm war vet, nothing 2 do, except-experiments. L I could build a balist, they don't have all parts, ask why, uh, I dint know. So I buy.

Y'all are going back and forth like school girls. One asks for otherers input and immediately wants to discredit what others have to say. Were all here for the culture, love of growing, and experience just to name a few reasons, in my opinion.
I think all of you are right on some points. You just need to explain things better. At the same time comprehend a little better. Have an open mind. It takes time to read and respond to any post. If you're asking for any advice, appreciate what's given. Of course some people are just natural narcissistic know it alls (assholes). I spent 20 minutes of my life reading this so I figured I'd give at least 2 cents. Keep growing, be happy.
