Indoor grow tent ventilation

Mine doesn't - I have a 16 inch carbon filter by iPower. Supposed to work for a 10x10 room. Plenty for a tent.
Ya that's pretty much what I'm running also in a 4x8, used to catch a whiff in the back yard where I vent out but now it's zero. I don't think my dog smells it and she likes eating leaves!

To be clear, it is OK to vent into the attic? Given that it is winter, I don't believe it will get hot enough in the attic for mold/heat to be a problem.

Will removing the light fixture give access to the attic? The attic is above the light, but I'm wondering whether there will be an additional obstacles in the way.

it'd be easier to just cut a hole in the sheetrock honestly, that fixture has an electrical box above it that you'd have to remove from the stud and it might make more work than what its worth.

I've a 600w n a fucking veg tent with cfls n still vent in the same room...stop cutting holes in shit lol crack open a window dude
Shit, I own my house and wouldn't cut a hole in my ceiling, lol. A lot of people do though.

I just exhaust my tent out into the room

I'm tempted to cut back a portion of carpet, cut a 6 inch hole, and vent to underneath the house. Then, when I move out, put the circular cutout piece of wood back in the whole with wood glue and put the carpet flap back down over it. Seems like that would be easier to disguise and cover up.

Nah man size of your rooms the main factor silly I can have my full setup running on a sunny irish summers day (lol) dunno how it's in warmer climates but inside my tents always 3c cooler than the main room. Happy xmas you ugly mother fucker hope my mom gave you herpies
That only works in the winter., With one light. Venting into the room the tents in is very inefficient.

coming from someone with carpentry experience, just cut the hole, some insulation will fall down but oh well.. fixing a quick sheetrock patch is easier than trying to get a fixture back up

if your tent is in the room it can't be cooler than the ambient temperature of the room, its like saying my cpu cooler cools my cpu to below room temp, Physics and thermodynamics points towards you dont have a slight clue what you are talking about
