Everyone already knows how to make sprayers right. They are not hard but damed if everything i tried to put it in leaked badly. So walking down the street i find a tidy cat litter container with a nice lid. Here are some pix,my lense is broken so they blury.

This is awesome. compact sturdy and leak proof. What are you using for collars there?
Its like a foam packing material. 1/4 or 3/8" thick. Just a test model to see if the lid would stay tight. It has been on over a few hrs now and no leak.. and thx.

Very nice I use EZ clone collars($0.31) and 2" Net Pots($0.14). You can glue the net pots in and the collars fit snug in the net pots(waterproof). This system roots 1-2weeks depending on strain and temp... if its below 70 you'll have isuess, and above 76 too. I have been curious about bubble cloners after fucking around with PVC in this aero cloner. Less moving parts and same result(maybe).IMG_7473.JPG

I to have been thinking about bubbles... like u said less moving parts.
The holes are only 5/8 around only way i could fit enough holes.

I've seen people using nerf darts with the suction cup cut off so it just a foam tube... this would allow for much closer spacing in your lid. However I think there are other items that could be used that would be more efficient such as 1/2" tubing. Only problem is getting the roots out once they are too big to fit through the 1/2" hole without damaging them. If you make the hole it fits in just small enough that the hose fits snug but comes out you would be able to pull out the cutting with the tube around it and cut it off.

Here's the thread:

From aerocloner. It was getting down to 60 in my room cuz winter hit so it pushed back the rooting one week. So it took these Monster Cookies 3 weeks to start rooting and the Purple Alien OG are still taking their time. 15min on 15min off cycle works best for me, they seem to branch off faster and have a denser root mass.

I make my cloners with a 16qrt bin. I get the foam plugs and nets n cut the bottoms. And its been totally loyal.
That's a sweet setup you have there. Good thinking with the humidity domes that fit your boxes. I didn't have a need for them in the summer but now that it getting into the low 60s and even 50s in my room it's pretty necessary for heat retention. I've been using those green Rubbermaids for a few runs and haven't had the greatest luck finding a container that will fit it as a dome. Thanks for sharing. It's always nice to see cute girls with greenthumbs bringing a good vibe.

3 weeks to start rooting? that seems like an awful long time. say i have clones that are 3'' long they are ready to be put in flower in 10 days... 2 weeks from then they would have out grown your 6-8'' clones that are still on the cloner... urs may get bigger in the end but i got mine 2-3 weeks sooner. and i cant be vegging long with an aero flo

I definitely was not claiming this to be an ideal situation. My intentions were to provide people with an experience that I trouble shot and found a resolution to. I have had 100% success with both rockwool and aero cloning yet I prefer the aero cloner method over rockwool for many reasons. When in an ideal climate I get roots in 7 days on most strains so there is no difference in time for me. However I would not flip them immediately after rooting in an aero cloner due to the roots needing time to acclimate to the media.

So the bigger cuttings root within 7 days usually?

7 days is the fastest I've gotten roots in the aero cloner.

The bigger ones do root first usually but I attribute that more to the amount of exposed cambium at the cutting site(the thicker the stem the thicker the cambium layer is). If you give it a very hard angle when you cut then you have more surface area for the cambium to begin rooting. There is a delicate balance between cutting the cambium off and exposing a thin layer but still the harder the angel the better. A friend told me he likes to scrape the sides of the cutting to get rid of the epidermis and allow a closer access of the cambium as well. I have also noticed that the smaller cuttings will end up rooting through the epidermis due to the fact that it has a thinner epidermis than a bigger cutting.

The key is to be very observant and experiment.
