Buds drying while still on plant..

soo I was planning on harvesting this weekend and I went outside to notice that my buds are all wilting and drying up.. I inspected and found cats on two of my plants. I'm assuming the buds that are drying up are all from them sacking everything out of them.. they seems to enjoy burrowing in the stems and doing nasty thing like that.. not to mention shit everywhere.

so at this point is there anything I can do. the plants smell good, buds look good, but feel dry and the wilting is not so pretty. lol

I had read if you find 1 cat expect there to be several.

so any suggestion? all the buds are dry on the very tips. and a lot of the sugar leaves are browning and dying off.

and for any damage I don't find? do I do a deeper inspection afterwards? idk if all the buds are dry because of the cats. no signs of mold or bud rot yet but there was shit.. so just wherever there is shit cut it out? cause all the buds are drying..

Cut em down and hang them. Caterpillars only live on living plant tissue. Once they have sucked up all the juice from your plants they will move on or die so you don't have to worry about missing some. The buds that are dry and shriveled are done there isn't really any way to "fix" that. smoke them and cut your losses

Caterpillar shit should just be able to be plucked off right? I mean that's all I ever did to any buds that were growing outside and got beat up by caterpillars. Unless it's runny, then you may need to cut it out. However, there shouldn't be any "inside" the bud. You know, deep down in there.

I did my best too look cut out what I noticed had shit was really spreading the buds open to inspect but yeah.. those fucking cats dried up my whole plant. it's chopped down and hanging right now I'm drying it outdoor though don't wanna spread mold spores to my good buds drying.. if mold occurs of course from the shit.

That's a good safeguard , I don't think you will have that problem but better safe than sorry
