This past summer was my first grow. It was an outdoor grow. It didn't do so well but it was a learning experience and I even learned to manually clone. I've currently got one plant going on CFLs in an indoor semi stealth grow. So now I'm thinking I would like to try 2-3 plants in a tent with hempy buckets and HPS lighting. I've been reading and reading, trying to educate myself on what I'll need but it's all a bit overpowering all at once. So I hoped that I might be able to draw from the vast experience on this board. I probably won't grow more than 2 (but possibly up to 4) plants at a time and only twice a year so it's not going to get any heavy usage. I'd like to have enough space inside to store my nutes, PH tester, etc and I'd like to have my hempy buckets elevated a few inches so I can drain the excess water.
The first thing I'm trying to find is the tent I want. I'm thinking something approx 2'x3'x6' is the size I want. I know there are other features to be concerned about like how easy the material tears on cheap ones, access for vents, cords, viewing windows and things like that can be important. The window not so much, because I don't plan on using any added CO². I was also thinking I would like to get a 400 hps with a digital dim able ballast that will handle MH or HPS. I hope to be able to make my own carbon filter but I'm open to any and all constructive advise. If you've got something you'd recommend, a link would be appreciated. Happy New Year everyone.
