you don't have to use it if you use flower ?

no screen needed for flowers but they can get messy

this bubble hash rosin tech is AWSOME!!!!

Check out Bret Maverick's rosin tech too, I do pretty much the same thing with kief except I don't use a vice and stand on the straightener (careful they break.)

I was smashing bubble at first but I noticed all my bubble rosin had a nasty taste to it, regardless of the quality of the bubble. I didn't taste it at first until I tried a dab of the really low quality trash hash rosin out of curiosity and then it was like ugghhhh worst hit ever... then even on the great quality bubble rosin I could still taste some of that same nasty taste. So I started shaking kief out of the 120 bag and using it instead of bubble hash, tastes much better to me and no jacking around with making and drying bubble hash which I've sworn off forever. To me running the resin through water doesn't do it any favors. .

excellent tips , i am still a noob an was noticeing a harsh top note from the bubble i was using. i got a ton of keif so i will be pressing that today gonna try to press a ounce from 4 oz of keif oh lawd

Have you pressed any GG4 yet? It yields hella great doing rosin. 4oz of that to start would be over 3 oz of rosin.i am getting really high % on it.

and got some ideas and tips. Part 1 is more his making dry sift first and picking out smaller nugs for pressing. I'm buying a straightener today for sure and will be doing a dry ice run for kief to press. I wonder if I can get a nail/adaptor for my bong at the head shop????

yea i am on the gg4 nugs squish . BUT the contaminates from squishing nugs turn me off... gotta get my tech down for now its all kief and bubble . i got tons and no market for anything but dabs ...lolz
i am getting 50% on my kief .

Thanks, I'm just an amateur squisher. He has a few other good videos on smashing rosin too.

I think with kief you're more likely to get a darker oil than with bubble because it takes a bit longer to squirt out. I think the more pure and more fresh (less oxidized) your kief/sift is the lighter your oil will be. I've also noticed some strains always produce a darker oil and the color might be a bit strain specific too.

just got 55% yeild on about 2 gram sqishes. but the glue flower gave me 33% untrimmed
i put in 20 g of last years kinda melty 2 star keif .
Got out 11.02g of fire ass rosin that is smooth as butter on yo bfast toast
1.5 hrs messy work(skilled labor ) 1hr cleanup (could be done by whomever )
the market is growing for this solventless stuff .

kief is way easy , flowers are a pain for me but give a nicer full spectrum product IMO...

I've never been able to get much out of flowers, but this guy is inspiring, this is the most epic rosin press I've seen yet.

I smoke to much to squish buds. I did it ones abd was like f this. then i watched him press hash and pull a glob out.
