Hi all, On my second grow.

Canna coco line with A/B, babies are at seedling/1st veg stage under a 6oow hps, bottom feeding.

I grew northern lights last time, but fancied something more funky and fruity this time round, so my question is,
are there any particular tips or pitfalls with these strains? Obviously I'm just gonna grow weed, so Keep it simple is my main focus here. Im in uk small set up, so I wont be veggong for much more than 3-4 weeks, so I believe lst and topping etc are probably not my best option? Im not too sure myself If I'm being honest.

But any tips or warnings will all be gratefully accepted and taken on board, thanks guys. I'll put some pics up if the thread picks up some interest. thank you.

#White widow x1
#Haze berry x1
#sour diesel x1
#og kush x1

Let it go for as long as you can
RQS ain't a bad bunch but not entirely honest either

their WW is a standard cross of sth American Sat with my favorite,
Kerala Skunk Cross, the Skunk being the indica in the mix

Kerala being the second sat, so is sat dom or roughly
RQS. WW is 75% sat the rest being the indica Skunk

back cross that a few times makes that a WW...? lol
this plant will need space and time ...be ready

also extra warmth, as I never heard of a sat .dom
(sativa dominant) plant able to grow with ease
in northern europe, outside, thats the sales blurb for you

if you are in the northern hemisphere, you can start them in solos
now with a view to moving to kiddie pools come june

if in the south, outside harvest late march even as far as may
watch out for mold

good luck

thanks

Ahh I see. Well I know nothing about phenotypes and all o that.
Royal Queen seeds, amsterdam. all feminized. thanks
phenotypes are just variations within a strain... imagine you buy a dachsund(strain) long and short hair are the 2 phenotypes within that strain. so when you buy a pack of F1 beans youll get a good mix of the 2 parent strains (generally speaking) and 2-3 dominant phenos.

phenotype is the observable traits you get from the plants genotype being acted upon by a plants environmental factors

so say a plant has purple buds coded in its genotype but only when activated by the cold, your plant may still end up green budded if it doesnt get cold, thats phenotype. but genotypically its still a purple plant, does that make sense?

RQS is a pretty decent breeder so you should do well, just make sure to post up a thread in the auto section if you need any help and im sure someone will be more than happy to lend a hand.

Mate that was an awesome example. I had a feeling it was variations within a strain, but you made it perfectly clear.
Yes it makes sense that purple traits may or may not appear (cold). and also like people with red hair. If it's in the genes,
it may pop up after a generation or so.?

Also the f1 thingy, cheers, I get it now, like when you grow marigold's or whatever, f1 hybrid mix, so it;l have a few dominant seeds in there of the strain, and a few variants due to mixed genus.

When you say the auto section I'm not sure what you meant, thats where you hang around I take it?

I'm not on auto flower seeds though if that's what you meant.

What i was generally looking for was if someone knows these plants through experience they may say something like

#haze berry are greedy plants, or OG are easy to damage, feed light etc etc..

I've learned from my first grow, to keep things simple and NOT reinvent things and have radical ideas to improve. I'ts just my first time to grow different strains in one tent. Thanks for your post it was very helpful. i'll ut a pic up later. j
