Kingbright has their own version of Angelina reflectors for $0.80 apiece.I just picked up some angelina reflectorsf13838. I think they make a huge difference if not using a tent. I saw someone posted some number measuring light with and without the reflectors.

I have 8 more to do sometime this weekend. Oh and to answer a question i saw posted earlier, you can install these with the cob and holder still attached. You do have to drill and tap 2 holes for screw to hold the adapters. It can be done, but there is risk of damaging the cob if you were to strike it on the drill bit while positioning it. I used a bandana to cover the cob while doing the drilling to keep the turnings from acidently touching the LES.

I bought the Lidel reflectors before Jerry had his available. I asked him when I placed my order for cobs and drivers and even suggested he make his own...![]()
I want some reflectors that I can use with my kapton mounted cobs
ThanksSupra made a kapton tape reflector out of soda bottles and white spray paint. He even tested the reflective persentagages with different types of paint. I'm not sure they will win a beauty contest but I am sure that the plants will not care how pretty they are...

I was watching a video and they were comparing different types of
Reflective material, and white came out to be a better reflector than shiny metallic colour.

COB's and monos mounted and timmed. Now I'm just hoping that I did my mono math correctly and the lpc 35 700 will run the 12 XP-E far red 730nm monos... It's a really solid build, sturdy for sure... Soldering monos and wiring next...![]()
wow cool light. did notice that's a lot of far reds, for Pfr effect 6 would have been plenty, although no harm.
Thank you, I overkilled it for sure with the 730nm here I guess. The stars looked so small and I had no idea how much area they would cover so I went with the build I have. They are mounted with screws ans some tim so some can be removed if needed. What would be a good driver if I only wanted to run six of them, I didn't really like the small dc to dc drivers...
