Sometimes I just like to reply to the title of a thread without reading anything else, then bounce. This is one of those times.
because supra lives in the states, and I live in canada... so $350 US = $500 CAD ... yup, it sucks. luckily I might not have to spend any money on fans and heatsinksYou should pay 1100$ for everything...
@SupraSPL paid 350 $ to make a 200w panel why you would pay more?
Someone should have the good site to go to save $$$
I hope you will enjoy soon the pleasure of cob growing!

well guess what? some people have never seen or heard of magnets but they can grow better than you could ever dream of

Hello Sir,THANKS PurpleBuz!
which driver do you recommend? I think the last one?
HLG-120H-C700(B)
HLG-120H-C1050(B)
HLG-120H-C1400(B)
HLG-185H-C700(B)
HLG-185H-C1050(B)
HLG-185H-C1400(B)
Also I cant really read the COB part number from the picture on their website... it looks like this
CXB3590-0000-000R0HCD35H , basically, CXB3590 CD 36v 3500k
Please stop me if this is not the right COB, I dont want to spend a lot of money on not the best light. Thanks.
AHhahahahaha, ...What the deuce? Wait a minute?! Who has never seen or heard of a magnet? I challenge you to name one person you know that doesn't know what a magnet is.well guess what? some people have never seen or heard of magnets but they can grow better than you could ever dream of
Yeah, come on, I'm a troll, its true, that was a troll post, it was totally for fun, but now I'm all in.don't feed the trolls
someone without a refrigerator, duh!!??AHhahahahaha, ...What the deuce? Wait a minute?! Who has never seen or heard of a magnet? I challenge you to name one person you know that doesn't know what a magnet is.
I confuse.
thanks a million dude that is exactly what I needed... +repHello Sir,
this bin number
CXB3590-0000-000N0HCD35G
for cxb 3590 36 volt version. most light output from 3500k bins.
Here are 2 setups which could be good for you, they are from SupraSPL
@ 56.3%
(4) CXB3590 3500K CD 36V @ 1.4A (49W ea) $190
(1) HLG-185H-C1400 $65
196 dissipation W -> 85.7W heat ->
passive cooled heatsink 10284cm² -> 5.88" X 38" heatsink $72 (could split in 2 to improve uniformity/spread)
or
active cooled heatsink 3428cm² min -> 3.5"X36" heatsink (for spread) $45 +80mm fan +psu $10
(4) lenses $16
110.3 PAR W covering 6ft² = 824 PPFD
$311 = $3.07/PAR W passive cooled (great value point IMO, very efficient use of driver)
$326 = 2.96/PAR W active cooled
@61.2%
(5) CXB3590 3500K CD 36V @ 1.05A (35.5W ea) $237.50
(1) HLG-185H-C1050 $65
177.5 dissipation W -> 68.9W heat ->
passive cooled heatsink 8268cm² -> 4.9"X36" $70
or
active cooled heatsink 2756cm² -> 3.5"X36" heatsink (for spread) $45 + 80mm fan + psu $10
(5) lenses $20
108.63 PAR W covering 6ft² =
$392.50 = $3.61/PAR W passive cooled
$377.50 = $3.48/PAR W active cooled
I hope this can help you
EDIT: i posted first wrong bin :// SORRY now its the correct bin number. i will post the the graph from CREEs PDF, so you can see it by your self
I thought because of the difference of the money people own more cad...like for a week in us you get 500 $ in canada 700 $...it is not like this?because supra lives in the states, and I live in canada... so $350 US = $500 CAD ... yup, it sucks. luckily I might not have to spend any money on fans and heatsinks
whats the difference between 2-step order and 3-step order? THanksnp sir
but please check again my text, i made mistake at first post.
But now i posted the correct bin number, but you can check by your self now. i posted a part of the cree pdf
I dont know really, someone other should answer that with more knowledge.whats the difference between 2-step order and 3-step order? THanks
helps meI hope this can help you
they use a wallwart matched to your # & voltage of fans I can help with that , I did pc builds that easy peasy to figure outanother stupid question from the green santa, do you power the fans with the same driver as the COBs? if yes I think I will go with active cooling .. just seems like regardless how big the heatsink, active cooling will always do a better job than passive, no?
No I'm Using Meanwell APV 12-12 To Power Up 4 Fans.another stupid question from the green santa, do you power the fans with the same driver as the COBs? if yes I think I will go with active cooling .. just seems like regardless how big the heatsink, active cooling will always do a better job than passive, no?
