I want a low yielding really high quality strain

So as part of my perpetual I am planting 2 new strains a month, one for yield (like big bud or critical+ ect) and a connoisseur strain (like Dr grinspoon) which generally yields low or takes ages to flower but is lovely to smoke. Im stuck on my next seeds. What is your absolute favourite smoke? Regardless of how irritating it may be to grow ;)

I'd love to try bhodi seeds but as my grow is a perpetual with little room for error really I need femenised seeds. Which is a massive shame as all I hear is great things about bhodi. And I can't find single packs on sannies seeds, I have to buy a full pack directly from him which is also a Shame as I'm trying as many different breeders as I can atm.

Who makes anathesia or mango haze?

You should get a full pack IMO - you won't regret it. Really any variety you run you should get a full pack as most varieties are not that stable due to the nature of the breeding game. Not all plants are created equally. But I understand if you want to go that route. Best of luck.

There are two Anesthesia's - Breeders Choice on Sannies site - excellent indica dom hybrid. But it's likely never going to be back in stock or at least it won't be for a while unless something is happening we don't know about. The breeder has been working full time at Gavita developing their grow lights (or something along those lines anyway).

The other one is by Pyramid Seeds that I've seen quite a few people recommend but I've never tried. Also an indica dom. Completely different lineage. I think Pyramid's is in female seed form.

Mango Haze is a Mr Nice Seeds creation. I have grown out his NLxHaze and while there were some nice plants, none I really considered a keeper unless yield was your primary focus however you could see real potential int the line - everything I've read about Haze dom lines indicates selection and pheno hunting are necessary evils and I'd guess that Mango Haze is no different - it can be beneficial to instead find good (worked) hybrids which can breed truer with good selection as Haze is a classic polyhybrid. It's also regular seed form.

Thanks for the reply, maybe I will give sannie a go as I do hear a lot of good, especially from the organic growers. The genetic gamble from growing from seed I enjoy tbh, having two types of weed every month with always new strains makes me happy however if and when I do find a plant/pheno that strands out in the 24 I grow a year I'd mother her.

pre 98 bubba S1's will give plants pretty similar to the mother, sometimes (rarely) better - but it's a pretty true breeding plant.

Have you ever grown out Dr Grinspoon? My experiences is, it is a super major, incredible pain in the ass that is mediocre smoke. Maybe I got a bad pheno because I have heard others rave about it. At the same time I often suspect they rave about it because they dont want to say they spent a lot of time and came out to be average.

I also notice that many of the good reviews from Dr Grinspoon comes from people that are "new members" on whichever site you are reading. Which is a common ploy for Barney's to pay people to give good reviews on their shit strains.

Never tbh, I was just an example but I was really tempted to try it, will maybe try something else first though, I'm easily sold on marketing flashy write ups ha!! I'm currently running gsc (cali con) the ultimate (Dutch pas) Scotts OG (rare Dankness) grape kush (cali con) True Berry (elemental seeds) and moonshine ghost train haze (RD)

Feel free to check my journal if you're interested in any of those strains
