WSJ: 'FRE$H' Poll Shows Clinton and Sanders EVEN..

So you print out platform of the two candidates..take a writing instrument of your choice and circle what steps you like best..the one with the higher number of circles gets your vote...and just in case, 2 is higher than 1 and 3 is higher than 2.

Think Chinese menu.
Poor analogy. At a Chinese buffet, you aren't FORCED to eat the things you DIDN'T put on your plate, things which somebody else put on your plate. Under the present system, you MUST eat the chicken wings you don't like with the egg rolls that you do like.

What you have described is a form of tyranny, you accept it because somebody taught you NOT to think and you obeyed them unquestioningly.

Could you please explain how Bernie could be "against big banks" yet vote to borrow more "money" from the Federal Reserve? It seems contradictory.

I've seen the job and I don't want it; I actually want to make the world a better place.

The only way I'll take the job is under the same terms as Cincinnatus.
I commend you for wanting to make the world a better place. Will the means you use start with the use of initiatory force or some other method?

What you are affirming is that you believe there is no other way and that it is inescapable. That the best people can do is make a choice between the lesser of two evils. You have inadvertently described the nature of voting which relies on the perpetuation of a false dichotomy.

Also, you never explained how voting to borrow more money from "big banks" is "fighting big banks" etc.

I'll leave you alone now, there's some guys at the door in white coats.

7 is higher than 6..well that was easy enough and we were only up to 7.

I'm rooting heavily for Bernie but I just don't see him overcoming the Hillary machine; granted I didn't see it happening in '08 either but Obama pulled ahead under some special circumstances -- he was a young black charismatic candidate at exactly the right time and just as importantly, he had a political lion in Ted Kennedy (a much older and more established machine) selling him as the golden child.

I hope I'm wrong because Bernie is the man.

Bernie IS the man. The fatalistic talk is just propaganda bullshit. We the People have the choice. We need to make it- and then make it stick.

Obama was talking all slick and sexy like tho, Bernie doesn't have that unless youre unemployed, divorced, live in Florida and want loads of free shit...

EDIT: Florida is mostly nice tho, Clearwater is an especially beautiful place.

I would not like to see Bernie in the white house because his agenda is so radical to mainstream politics he would be essentially a lame duck president for 4 years because he would get no support form either side of the isle....

If the man stands for what you believe should be the direction of your government, that's a pretty sad excuse for voting against him. Just sayin

Wouldn't it be more in line with your stated preferred outcome to vote other like minded candidates in AS senators and congressmen in to support him, instead?

Don't worry, if he flames out you'll still have the Missus to vote for. But you owe it to your conscience to vote for who you believe in. At least once.

If (& that's a big if) Bernie gets the nom, I certainly won't be voting for Trump. But Hillary has a better chance of beating trump & I cannot in all good conscience risk trump in the whitehouse...

Recent polls have shown this assumption is BACKWARDS; none other than the Wall Street Journal reported on a study that showed, among many other things, that the Sanders vs Chump margin of victory would be larger than that of Clinton vs Chump.

it's to early, Bernie is still a long shot....
All the more reason to champion him NOW!

I like you, brother, and in spite of our minor political disagreements from time to time I have much respect for your experience and judgement.

I want you to know I understand that my hyperbole might get a little over the top sometimes, it's only because I'm speaking to the crowd- and it's definitely not meant personally in any way. You're a great guy- and a patient foil for my soapbox, lol

How much older than a half century qualifies?

For the record, I'm with you 100% on the 'anyone but Chump' sentiment! I also believe that sending a strong message now to the Democratic party about where the hearts of its voters really lie pays dividends no matter who ultimately gets the nomination, as it will provide political capital for real change... and the pressure to get it done.

Ted Kennedy suffered from a "little brother" complex. He never got to bang Marilyn Monroe, but he did do something his brothers hadn't, he drowned his date and he avoided getting bumped off.

Cowardly lion might be a better description for the hypocrite Ted. He's the same guy that was all about gun control, yet HE had armed body guards. He suffered from an elitist complex and was essentially a drunken privileged Frat boy.

So, uh, what about Bernie makes him "the man"?
