You don't though. No, just the whole state of Colorado.
I do.You don't though.
Mines for sale right now. I could not get a good smell out of any strain really with a tumble trimmer. It always had a hay smell in the background. Im thinking about some bonzai hero trimmers but ill probably just keep hanging plants and rehydrating after theyre too dry. The smell that comes back is way better than the smell from tumbled plants in my opinion. even the bonzai heros will only do about 2.5 lbs a day per unit. Or what dries to 2.5 lbs. its a little faster than dry trim but you have to be able to take down a plant a day and not all at once. They also make dry trimmers that tumble. The machine I use has bags that filter the bullshit like bubble bags . Also I pretrim everything so nothing goes into the machine with any bullshit on it. The trim I get from this machine is the only positive thing I've got from the machine so far. My blue dream is definitely getting the Trichs fucked up through the machine, Its not dry yet so I don't know how much of a quality loss I'm looking at. The calayx don't get fucked up with this machine but you have to run like 3 mins it's too much tumble action
How does the state of Colorado get its turkey bags to stink as much as dry trimmersNo, just the whole state of Colorado.
What humidity percentage are you going into turkey at?How does the state of Colorado get its turkey bags to stink as much as dry trimmers
Quality product? Is a pretty competitive market here. Second rate shit don't make it.How does the state of Colorado get its turkey bags to stink as much as dry trimmers
I'm getting top numbers in SoCal . I'd say it's top notch . Only thing I lack is the punch you in the face smell. It's loud.. But it's not dry trim Loud in the turkeyQuality product? Is a pretty competitive market here. Second rate shit don't make it.
55-62 ish I think. i definitely make sure it's dry enough before it goes into bags. I've fucked that up a few times when I started . Do you think sweating them out in paper bags or cardboard boxes helps ?What humidity percentage are you going into turkey at?
I don't know if it helps. but i go into paper for the first 3 days for 24 hours at 63% humidity. But our styles of drying and haircutting are different.55-62 ish I think. i definitely make sure it's dry enough before it goes into bags. I've fucked that up a few times when I started . I hate trimming it wet. I always dry trim to get that danky smelli have always trimmed wet . Recently I did a dry trim and I noticed I could get more stink out of the turkey bags. I am now using a ez trim satellite and its best to wet trim with this machine .we did a side by side wet trim with machine vs hand dry trim.. The stink was the only difference. After a week or so in the turkeys the wet trim smell will get better but never as good .
I am drying on the racks about 6 days . Is there something more I can do to bring out the smell? I have heard sweating in paper bags, cardboard boxes , can help bring out the smell. Can someone help? I don't want to fuck anything up
one thing that i have noticed for sure is if you have allergies triming wet is way better.trimming dry doesn't disturb trichomes is what i found out then trimming wet
How dry are you talking about? Most people dry trimming decent amounts are not waiting for the flowers to be totally dry. One starts dry trimming on the 63 percent humidity side, Then by the time him/her is down to the last few days of trimming their down to 60 percent humidity. And ready for storage or some say curing. Would you say 60 percent humidity is too dry that resin glands are braking off? Totally respect your input as I've seen you go over this subject in the past.thats because dude above you is actually wrong.
i know people who have serious reactions when dry sifting or messing with very dry bud.
the cystolithic hairs and oxalate crystals break off
"Even a small dose of calcium oxalate is enough to cause intense sensations of burning in the mouth and throat, swelling, and choking that could last for up to two weeks.[6] In greater doses it can cause severe digestive upset, breathing difficulties, coma or even death. Recovery from severe oxalate poisoning is possible, although permanent liver and kidney damage might have occurred by this time.
The stalks of plants in the Dieffenbachiagenus produce the most severe oxalate reactions. The needle-like oxalate crystals produce pain and swelling when they contact lips, tongue, oral mucosa, conjunctiva, or skin. Edemaprimarily is due to direct trauma from the needle-like crystals"
noted in all members of the cannabaceae family.
there is no scientific or logic behind dry trimming.. just isnt. not trying to talk down or anything. the trichs become more brittle and snap when dry.
That funny because in my experience wet trimming makes my allergies act up wayyy more than dry trimming. But i get minor skin irritation from dry trimming (simple redness and a little itchy)one thing that i have noticed for sure is if you have allergies triming wet is way better.
i've trimmed the same strains wet and dry the dry came out way better in look smell and tastethats because dude above you is actually wrong.

Last crop I ended up in the hospital with a breathing treatment and steroid injections. I have to wear a painters mask when I trim. It really fucks me up. seems like I breath in more of the particles when its dry. That funny because in my experience wet trimming makes my allergies act up wayyy more than dry trimming. I was working with a guy a few weeks ago before christmas who had to wear a mask wet trimming. Asthma i believe. Im glad i dont have to wear one of those, they look uncomfortable to work in.Last crop I ended up in the hospital with a breathing treatment and steroid injections.
