Really Poor mans Grow

So....... saved up pocket money and thought fek it LET GROW!!!!!.
so here is whats going on. This is for all those new growers out there not wishing to spend to much on a first grow. All in this grow set me back less than 200buck.
So i went out an found best wood i could find for cheap price an cheap everything really....
Set up....
Room 10x9x6 i think?
Veg- 2x 400w hps. Flower 6x600w hps but for now we stick to 2x400w for small 10-15 plants or small size(130cm)
Nuts.. tomoright & chicken poop.

For the timber it was only $40 black an white was like £30 both 400w $50 x 2 plus seeds at $30 so cheap cheap

Well done. I'd call my 3x3 cabinet more poor than that space! Looks good, nice and clean.

Coco coil for soil well if you can call it that lol stuff was cheap tho. 10lt for $1 comes an packed down an shiiit. Add 2lt water to there bag an watch em pop up haha

Growing is a borderline obsession for me but reading around the different forums a few hours a day certainly helps. I've done that for years and it really helps. Any question you have google it, it's probably already answered. Any little question, just google it and read, read, then read some more. I'm always thinking about growing and any time something pops in my head I search up.

Books aren't a bad idea either if it's your thing. Marijuana Horticulture by Jorge Cervantes and Marijuana Growers Handbook by Ed Rosenthal are both staples around my house.

If you're not a reader youtube is great too. Jorge Cervantes has tons of videos and if you don't like jorge there's tons of other videos if ya look around.

Be a sponge and soak some info up here and there. You'll fall on your face your first grow but keep getting back up. I killed a handful of crops before I "got it" and that was before I had these resources a decade ago.

Also 20 plants is a lot to care for if it's your first grow. I'd recommend only a handful but if you think you can handle it then go for it!

heres a cheap grow of mine, just bs'n
maybe $50 total after all said and done depends if yiu actually have to buy everything

That is 26x24" or something. Its 2 tubs, the top tub and light hood connects enclosing it. secind tub off in that pic exposing the plants...normally ziptied and i open it like a lid
lid...the lights are raised in the pic
.its a stacked rubbermaid tote.the hood enclosure was made from the bottom of the other rubbermaid so it fits perfectly and when together almost no light escapes .. And 24 23 watt bulbs up top and another 100 or so watts down low making about 750 actual watts in that space..

This is what im talking about with yhe lights.
4 of those surge protectors for a couple dollars each..ziptied the surge protector and light bulbs to a piece of plywood keeping the thin plastic hood from collapsing Make sure you ziptie to hold bulbs in
had a little fan taped at soil level and another at light level

i used 1bag of soil, one bag of perlite. was spread a couple inches thin...made sure to never have run off.. never ph'd..always tap... miracle grow products only



pulled a ~lb... heavy central/south american genetics

I got 6 x 600w hps going in there.this thread it hust for new growers with less cash using 2 x400w. So two threads on one i guess. Gotta love them 600s
