16 dwc 5 gallon buckets!

I'm running 16 dwc 5 gallon buckets. I have them set on 2 Active Aqua 8 outlet pumps, 25 liters per minute. 1 air line to each bucket. That good enough or do I need more air for these girls?

In my experience i would prefer a tad more - but that will be enough for sure.
Yep, actually, my maths is pretty dreadfull. I run 20l pots, full to about 17.5l, and work on a minimum of 6l per min. I am super paranoid about pythium though. Provided your res temps are nice and low you might get away with a smaller output. 3 seems low however.

How much time/work is it to maintain 16 individual buckets?
As of right now, about 1 hour every 2-3 days to refill water and nutes and check ph. Res changes however are a pain in the rear as my grow location in my house is up stairs and does not contain a sink so I have to carry each individual bucket out of the room and toss that shit out the bathroom window. Gonna throw a 50 gallon barrel in there soon and just dump old res water in there have a submersible pump drain it out. Saves me a ton of walking and carrying time.

You should consider rdwc, simple to setup. Tubing, some grommets, drill bits, and water pumps. I've done the upstairs watering and it's pure awful. Water chiller is almost required but u can work around it

Get some hose and an indoor tap connector to save your back as well.

Once they get big as well the change outs are much more problematic your setting yourself up for a ton of work and dangerous water temps.

Feeling for u as I almost crippled myself carrying damn buckets upstairs every other day

I run 70lph in my ucxxl 4 system with 5 13 gallon buckets, double your air pumps and if possible keep them near cold air intake
