Any ideas of what strain this might be

This came from some give me seedss. It is short and bushy and the leaves were dark green. It has been in the flowering stage for about 5 weeks and the pistols are white but haven't started turning amber yet. I dont know if they will. Doesn't look like there will be much yield but it smells pretty good. I'm thinking about purchasing some seeds on line, Any suggestion on what to try for a beginner for indoors

The leaves are a bit too wide for sativa - It still could be indica... Either way there are probably over 4000 strains out there.

One thing, the leaves on those plants are not very happy. Left the way they are the plant will get through to the finish more than likely.

Don't pick until the pistils change colour and start withering. Trichome method is best but you can tell it's close by the pistils.

For beginners? I really enjoyed growing Galaxy by Pyramid Seeds. Easy, took well to any changes, nice big yield, with a bubble gum flavor. Good all around strain.

As for that plant, I wouldn't keep those genetics... You can get much better results.. Unless the stunted growth and such is from a nutrient deficiency of some sort..Or too much?

The leaves look like they're full of insects, like mites or something. I hope it's just the bad image quality, but something is definitely wrong with those plants.

Maybe it's the picture quality but I don't see buds, the leaves show signs of trouble, and the plant is in poor overall health. I know you didn't ask how does my plant look, just making an observation. I would start with Northern Lights for a strain that's easy to grow.

I do see little white bugs crawling around in the soil when I water but nothing on leaves

If you're only seeing them when watering then they're probably blind springtails, some say they're part of a working soil, but I've only seen them in my coco when I've kept things too moist for too long.
