I am thinking of doing a 1 plant scrog inside a 36x20x62 tent. I was trying to decide on light size and type of light I could use inside that size tent? I would like to hear from you on what you think. What kind of light would work best for me. Thank you everyone

400W HPS in a cooltube with exhaust. That 20" is mighty shallow and heat will be an issue.

Hot rods got it. Thats gonna be a cooker.

This is simply my two cents and It should be taken with a grain of salt because the thing about growing is its your way and theirs a million ways to create a cola. ------But

I dont know if i would scrog. My 400w colas are about... you could fit two in your tent. Two colas. You would have heat issues, rot, mold or other. Also this leaves zero room for humidifier, dehumidifier, fans, cool tube, insulated ducting, scrubber, bucket or similar to put you power bar in, and then space for the plant.

Im not trying to kill it just make sure that even though veg will be cool, your flowering is going to take up SO MUCH room. PCE bongsmilie

A topped 4 cola girl with a 1 month veg on 400 mh is my opinion. To answer the original question. Get ready to supercrop

You'd probably slay it with Pacific Light Concepts cob lamps in that space. Probably be over kill, just like it should be!!!!!

Or you can go serious and get a next light 525 watt replaces a 1000 hps.

My buddy has it, wound up replacing his 1000 hps, claims he cut his electricity by a third and increased his yield by 1/3-1/2. He got for $1100 but it goes for $1300.

I'd roll with a cool tube 400w MH for veg, HPS for flower. Same advice though, you're going to have to exhaust somewhere because heat will be an issue. Or look in to CMH as I've heard they run cooler but idk that for sure....

At $800 bucks thats pricey.

Not pricy. Considering yield and quality. If i remember right the op is growing meds for a few different family members. The owner of the light company i mentioned has documented grows with yields and testing done under his gear. Im sure you've seen his medicine, there's none better "imo" that I've seen.

What do you mean with the sad face?
I just meant pricey. My dollar is at .60 compared to yours. Lolll.. One day I shall own one and pm you a pic mongo. One day. I'm starting a fund now. :P

Id love to get a high end led. But your right, yield? just 1 plant pays for itself.

Cool led I havent heard of before. Good to know theirs more people getting into real deal LED panels.

I think for someone new its hard to justify 800usd but we all live different lifestyles.

400 watt hortilux eye.. Use for veg and flower if you want.. But make sure you pump some nice cool air through the tube\hood.. You got a small space.. But with the 400 you got enough power to upgrade a bit when you're ready.. Good luck
