Also how it appears they are super white just in certain spots must be from the HPS on in the background and a flash of my camera. They're all pretty uniform and kind of an off-white to a pure-white color.

Damn.....i don't have larger pots either. I'm confused. Never had root bound before. They have only been in the 5 gallon pots for 23 days from solo cups. If I just flowered will they still do alright?

Hello I've been having a few problems with what I thought was over watering. Someone suggested to check the roots so i pulled one out of the bucket. Are these roots too compacted and gonna get root bound? I'm 8 weeks out (just starting 1212). Thanks.
Can you tell us what size pot your in now?

5 gallon.. Look like homer buckets actually. They are impressive roots I'd be looking for bigger pots.. All I can think is some custom fabric ones your kinda screwed with the homers shape I've run them before

You sure they're in 5 gallons? That's like 22 litres. Mine are only in 10 litres but the pot shape looks larger than yours.

I used tons of great white roots along with voodoo juice for roots. I think it worked better than I'm used to because i actually checked PH on this grow. I always just ran with it in the past....never had a PH pen. Anyways am i screwed because transplanting is out of the question unfortunately. I have 18 under 2 1000's and there would be no room for bigger pots and also i have no promix or bigger pots.

Well they are lowes and home Depot buckets. I assumed they were 5 gallon.
Hard to judge with nothing to put it into scale. Are those the industrial ones? Only ask as I've been looking into them, as well as smart pots that size. They'll be more than twice the size what I've got now so trying to put it into perspective.

Not sure if they are the industrial ones of not. They Were Like $3 a piece. I'm turning to 1212 tomorrow I hope they will be ok. I'll do bigger pots next grow. Maybe 7 gallon pots.

Looks good. transplant to 3 gallons more than what you are currently have and youll be fine.

Unfortunately I don't have any of the resources needed for a transplant. I would need to-

A. Just flower the way they are and hope for the best.

B. Take clones and cut them down and don't let the next ones get root bound.

My schedule won't allow for any major job as in transplanting to happen for at least the next 2-3 weeks. (I'd have to g o to the grow store, then have time to replant 18 of these).

If it were you, would you choose A or B?

Thanks.

if your going to sacrifice root size then your going to sacrifice quantity. it really takes under 2 min to transplant. rule of thumb is a month for each gallon. not to mention, you still have atleast 2-3 weeks you can wait. its not completely root bound yet.

Ok well there is 3 or 4 inches at the top of the bucket where the promix settled. Would it be beneficial to pull them out and put more promix just in the bottoms? It would add a few inches of space.
