im actually a polish citizen form the bialystok region (im currently living in the U.S., double citizenship)
what russias attack on georgia and blatant threats against poland show is that the cold war is far form over and that the ussr has yet to fall, all the former soviet bloc countries are still in one way or another dependent on russia and russia is trying in anyw ay possible to keep its spheres of infuence intact
poland adoipted the missle shield program for two reasons, first of all to aid america, whcih is a long time ally and a western country which poland strives to be liek in terms of the econonomy and democracy, second of all to really piss off russia, to show that they wont be contorlling us like they were for the last 60 years, its really a jump for the west done by poland
part of the deal is that the missle defense shield will also defend poland, and that in the event of a russian attack, america and its nato coutnerparts will defend poland and ensure its sovergnity

what alot of americans dont realize is that the russian government, esp former kgb agents (vladmir putin was a general in the kgb) fix elections in eastern european countries so that a pro-russian president can be elected, yea no shit here, these guys are fuckin crazy

Hi. As you say, we bleed red just like us. We have our internal problems inside country, just like yours. But we try to build up first nice relationships with our ex part USSR country's. After when USSR fall, you government try to pot they own people in government all this small country's, they just give shit about what rest of the world think about it. And still keep trying to put our country on knees, but thank to oil we start grow up very fast. You gov can't stop us, and they try to give us problem like Georgia, soon Ukraine. In all this country's presidents receive money from US gov for support. We don't have problem with China, Afghanistan, Iran, India and EU country's, but yours gov have problem in every fk part of the world, did you see that???
All small country's like Poland,Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia,Georgia,Ukraine- all support Georgia in this conflict, BUT only people from government support that, people from the street get mad about it, they says what the FK, we support S.Osetia and Russia for defend them, same shit on TV Russia attack Georgia, but people already know the truth. They event have strikes on street about what they show on TV. And guess what? all this news and suport by gov people only becouse you goverment pay them.
Now last think, your GOV can't put us on knees, we only stand on our knees in one case, to check if your GOV(USA) still breathing. Of course, we have idiots to like CCodiane and ViRedd. well mardavarot you give an excellent point. the US shits on everybody, and the world knows it. the US is like a cancer on the planet, completely manipulating the citizens, destroying moral dignity and respect, and murdering people in foreign countries. not to mention we are using up so much of the oil being produced on land we aren't on. i honestly would not be surprised if the entire world attacked the US and brought us down.
