Water drops on your leaves under HID can indeed burn or bleech the leaf if the light forces evaporation faster than the leaf can absorb the water.

The same can't be said about outdoors and rain, cause generally speaking, when it's heavily raining outside, the sun isn't shining.

If it's bugs, the holes would be everywhere, and they'd get bigger and more noticeable.

If after a few days or even a week, that hole is the same size/shape and no new holes or anything have appeared, then you should be ok.

I've watched a brand new cluster of leaves form on one of my plants , I've also watched those leaves open up and get slightly pinched or something by its own doing not mine BTW. When the leaf became mature the area of damage looked just like that hole. No I'm not saying that's what this is, I'm just saying that is what I witnessed with my own plants.
