DUET 250 (Fixture) - Prototype Lineup

Hi Everyone!

I got my hands on the Duet 250! It is now in production and for sale for both complete ready to use fixture or just the COB.

Duet 250 uses a fixed ratio (1:1, 1:2, 1:4,1:8, 1:12) of WHITE (OMG YES), BLUE and RED.
You can either choose a configuration of WHITE/RED or BLUE/RED.
It's actual wattage is 250, as we don't market our products with an HID replacement number.

You'll need to specify your required CCT/CRI if you are choosing white. Our standard product lineup ranges from 2700K-6000K CCT, and CRI ranges from 60-90 and (>90+ and 96+ comes at a higher price).

I'll have datasheets very soon, and you can expect the Duet 250's chip output just a little better than our Luna 250.

We will be at HEMPCON this weekend accepting orders on all our prototype designs; with a LT of 4 weeks.

I forgot to mention, to all the white light fans out there, you can now choose white/red or blue/red on all our products.
We may release a design with a combination of all 3. Maybe.

Whats the effective footprint at 24in on something like this?

How soft would one have to drive these to get reasonable numbers (at least 2 µmol/J) from the red part? The thing is that Duet2400's red part produces only mere 1 µmol/J while my CXB3590 (at 1.4A) are over 2.5 µmol/J. In fact, if I filtered everything but 600-700nm range from 3590, it would still be more efficient.
What about output of the white part?

A simple calculation in our 660nm red is 0.85 µmol/J.
650nm red is 0.95µmol/J; 640nm red is 0.9µmol/J.

For exact numbers, we'll have that within two weeks. We'll have our results back fro our LM80 labs.

@alesh is rarely wrong..............I got low 500s on the math section on the sat's(1996), not pretty ..........soooooooooo i'm not even attempting to crunch #s

I checked again and...no. These are minimal values taken from pct.cree.com

again this SPD is not 3000K ... it´s 3526K
cree peaks at 640nm FCO peaks at 660nm ... Stokes law will tell you the difference....
450nm/640nm versus 450nm/660nmm

Just got back to the office. We are on backorder for the next 4 weeks. We sold a bunch of Duet 185W, Duet 320W Fixtures running our Duet 250 chip with controller box.
The 185W is going to run you at $325 + tax&shipping, the 320W is going for $500 + tax & shipping. Those were show specials, they are now at normal pricing.

We also had the 100W on sale for $175.

its a great idea really,but again im just curious about the functional use of these chips,is there lenses? if so what degree etc trying to figure out what kind of footprint one can expect from one of these units
