Now The Fun Begins. I'm Ordering 2 More 320's On Monday. I Have A 5000k Passive 320 Watt Vero 29 Light Bar In The Making.Yeah, just got all the bits in, now comes the part of putting them all together.

Oh Hell Where My Manners. What Type Of light You Building??Yeah, just got all the bits in, now comes the part of putting them all together.
I got wise and had them custom built by someone who knew what he was doing, lol. Nothing unique, Meanwell 200W driver running 4 CXB3590 72V 3500K CD bin, 56% efficient, active cooled... times 26.Oh Hell Where My Manners. What Type Of light You Building??
What You Dont Like Learning On Da Fly?? 24 go into bloom and the last pair will run early veg, 400W replacing over a kW in there.
I have my reasons, all will become clear in time. What You Dont Like Learning On Da Fly?? Well Half The Joy Is Looking In Your Tent And Saying Thats My Bad MutherFucker And I Built Her However I Do Understand Buying The Pre-Built Fixture It Saves Alot Of Headach's
Ask You Shall Receive My BrotherGreat looking build. Was wondering if you could share some info on the thermal resistor setup? Do you have a circuit diagram handy?
I'd say you have achieved it from what I have seen around here.. Once you get that new passive version going then you really will be way ahead of the curve. No Problem Brother And Thank You. My Goal Was To Build The Baddest Vero 29 Light Bar To Date,
Ok Brother I Now Can Give You A More Intelligent Answer To Your QuestionHow much did this set ya back if I may ask?
No Problem Brother Jump In And add more Information When You See FitDawg. Sorry to to jump in like this. Just wanted to share a few details that might help others.

meanwell drivers work with a 100k ohm potentiometer for dimming. You get linear dimming with a linear taper pot.
This driver works with 5K ohm potentiometer and 1K ohm fixed value resistor. This driver gives exponential (anti log) dimming as you see in the dimming chart as dawg highlighted. By using audio taper potentiometer you are possibly reversing this exponential effect and getting a more linear dimming.

The thermal protector's used here are Normally open type. They stay open but trigger at 55C and close the circuit. So if fan fails and any one of the 4 heatsinka go over 55C then dawg's protector connects a parallel resistor of 220ohm across potentiometer. This 220ohm reduces the current (indicating a fault state) and allows the heatsink to cool down.
Thank You My Brother. My Next Light Will Also Feature A Remote Driver. Here's A Sneak Peek At The HeatsinksI'd say you have achieved it from what I have seen around here.. Once you get that new passive version going then you really will be way ahead of the curve.
Ok I Forgot The APV 12 That Powers The Fans Plus The Potentiometer And Resistors Also To Make The Entire Rail Your Going To Need Another 8 Ft piece of Aluminum Angle So Lets Just Round Up To 450.00 Usd. Still Not Bad For 320 Watts Of Power Me LikieOk Brother I Now Can Give You A More Intelligent Answer To Your Question
8 Ft Aluminum Angle Home Depot 13.99
Heatsinks x4 @ 9.99 40.00
Vero29 X4 @ 28.22 112.88
Inventronics Driver 112.11
Reflector Clamp x4 @ 2.18 8.72
Reflectors x4 @ 1.72 6.88
Misc Items Plus Shipping 125.00
And This Light Should Cost You No More Than 405.59 To Build 1 Just Like Mine
This is impressive stuff! Who says COB LED has to cost more than HID? Fine work!Ok I Forgot The APV 12 That Powers The Fans Plus The Potentiometer And Resistors Also To Make The Entire Rail Your Going To Need Another 8 Ft piece of Aluminum Angle So Lets Just Round Up To 450.00 Usd. And I Just Proved That It Doesn't Have To Cost An Arm And A Legg Either. This is impressive stuff! Who says COB LED has to cost more than HID? Fine work!
