Forget strings, sticks and tieing up your plant..

So I've got an idea of creating a support system for the main root of the plant, I was thinking If I created this then the plant wouldn't need to devote energy into standing up or keeping itself up/supporting itself then it could devote all it's time on creating more leaves/buds, because I believe that your taking A TON of growth away from a plant in flower that cannot hardly hold itself up with all the bud on it and even though people use sticks and strings it still isn't fully supporting it, so if you actually created a device that would do that I think you could yield a ton more and less hassle about worrying too much about keeping it up, now the stalk would have to be pretty decent in size for this to work.

What's your thought's on this?

Well string, sticks and ties are all for helping with support, So creating something would be a waste of money really and would probably cost more than a ball of string or some canes to buy. Can't really get more practical than them either. I think you're way over thinking things lol. As for your ton of more bud theory, give it a try. Run 4 plants, use exsessive support on 2 of them and compare yields at the end.

How about do what I do and slowly induce it to flower , like I go from 24 hrs or 18 lights on to 13 hrs for one week and then into 12/12 that way your letting your plant get the shape and strengthen their stems for support....

Instead of going wham bam to flower, outdoors don't need support unless it's been raining <-- just guessing lol my uncle never used supports his plants are about 7 ft tall sativas outdoors,

I think, but good wind and slowly inducing into flower is my way to do it... And allways done it lmao

Thus is just purely in my honest opinion, by looking at outdoors and indoor. And the size of budds and trees lol

What type of root support system? Got some sketches or you planning on a patent. Just not really grasping the whole root support thing when it's the plants buds that are causing the issue. Nice plant BTW tty!!! I do think that support for the branches is a good thing though and probably relieves stress.

I use fans, alot of them.Leaves should never stop moving and as they gain in mass they also get exercise making it possible for them to support the final Cola weight.

I've leaned more towards not having my fans blow directly on the girls but between the plant and canopy. I found some strains seemed to get stressed by the wind. So yup if needed I tie the big ones up. And yes it can be a pain
