First Official Grow. Fem White Widow (in progress)

Just thought I'd show what I'm working g with in my grow. I've had one grow before this but it was a random seed and turned out male. I've never been through the flowering stage so I guess I'm still a newbie. Anyways, I have 2 Feminized White Widows growing. One is 38 days today (Jan. 28th) and the other is 14 days. It is a microish grow in a 17" x 17" x 42" homemade grow box wrapped with panda film. I have a mars hydro 145w output led grow light and plan to add a couple 2700k cfls during flower as this is a small space. 2 passive intakes at the bottom and two exhaust fans connected to two diy carbon filters sucking air through the top. There is a small fan which circulates air and the temps hover around 75-80F during lights on and 65-74F during lights off. Running an 18/6 light schedule. Mars hydro reccomends 12-15 inches away from light during flower. This leaves me with 24-26" max grow height including pot. I plan to scrog soon to increase my yield. I will be doing updates every few days with pics. I left a lot out I know lol. I will address as needed. Pics coming up

Regular seeds are less likely to show intersex traits than feminized seeds.

I just don't have the space to grow regular seeds and veg them out until preflowers with my small space.

Just keep an eye on them and if you see male flowers they can be pulled off.

Hey all! It's almost been 3 weeks since my last post and everything has grown quite a bit! My WW #1 is 57 days old. WW #2 is 33 days old. Both are on day 6 of flower and had their first bloom feeding yesterday at ¼ strength. Currently I am flowering with the mars 300 (135 true watts) and 2x 40w 2700k cfls. I have a 125w 2700k cfl getting in tomorrow and will replace the two 40s with it. TBC...

As you can see I have a scrog set up here with WW#1 filling it up very nicely while WW#2 has been sitting right under it. I'm very curious as to what end result I'm looking at in terms of dry weight. I have read a couple forums with people getting .5g/watt with a single mars 300. Adding the 125w cfl and with the information and pictures given, could any of you provide your best guess as to final yield? I will be happy to answer any questions . I'll be back in a week to update the progress!

I'm starting up soon with WW Scrog, same as you, but a little bigger (4'x4', 600w HPS). Have you topped the plants? They look so short and bushy

Yea I topped them both! WW#1 had a mutation where it grew 3 fan leaves per node on the main stem! So basically I got 3 shoots from each node up to the point of my top.

My screen is nearly full and I don't even think the flowering stretch has fully started. I'd like to be able to tuck it u der the screen for another week before I let it loose!

Thought I'd share my recently crafted clone box! It's 12x12x16 inches and I have 2x 23 5000k cfls and 2x 23w 6400k cfls. 1600 lumens each for 6400 lumens total. They were taken as relatively small clones from my WW#1 which is now in flower. Took 10 days to show roots through the rockwoll cube. They are on day 12 from visable roots and I have LST'd them both today. I want to keep them in there for at least another 3 weeks. I can raise the light maybe 3-4 inches max then I'm stuck . Any advice would be appreciated!

Day 9 Flower Update: A few shoots are reaching above the scrog net but there still hasn't been a major stretch just yet. Got a closup of one of the main shoots and the pistils are starting to come in nicely. First time seeing the pistils in person. It's so exciting!

Begining of DAY 14 Flower. She isn't stretching as high as I had hoped... Wanted at least 2 more inches. Hopefully they stretch up a bit more but whatever. Lots of pistils forming on all the bud sites now. They got a ½ strength feeding of fert yesterday compared to the ¼ a week ago. No signs of nute burn so I will move up to ¾ next week. She looking OK for day 14 flower so far?

Hello! It's the start of day 24 flower. Got some close ups of the plant and it looks like the "snow" of the white widow is starting to form. Watered with ¾ strength nutes2 days ago and still no burns that I can see.

Looking good man, I've just started my first grow. I lined a closet with panda film and have exhaust and intake ran thru holes i cut in the door. I'm growing feminized ww also and am using a 250 watt hps. I only hope mine turns out as well as yours.
