Basic list for grow room.

This is a of everything i will need to get to start my grow room. if you see that im missing something please link me to it on amazon. anyways here's my cart so far. http://imgur.com/HdHI0WT.

as for soil, seeds and nutes, ill be going to a store for those.
I also have a bunch of reflective foamboard and fans laying around. Also can you run 2 different wattage of led lights on the same grow?

Also if someone could let me know how "GalaxyHydro" lights are. These are the ones i want to order:

If these are not any good could someone recommend a led light (nothing below 500w) that isnt crazy expensive.

That 600w led isn't 600 watts you know? I looked around a little bit and couldn't find a single advertisement that listed the input wattage. Deceptive business practices is part of their formula. I have been able to find the input wattage for the 300w version and it's 140 watts. The fan power and driver loss will account for around 20 watts so the 300w is outputting about 120 watts, so probably 240 watts output for the 600w version. They also don't disclose the part numbers for the emitters they use so it's impossible to determine the efficiency and thus the par watts, but you can bet it's pretty low by current industry standards. I was able to find a listing at Steve's LEDs for single diodes from Epiled, supposedly their latest and greatest and the efficiency on those looks to be about 33% at the suggested current. If we assume the ones in that lamp are the same (likely not) then that "600w" unit provides about 80 par watts.

I suggest you do some research on the various brands selling Bridgelux Vero or Cree CXB cob emitters and choose among them, or build your own. A decent 200w LED lamp should provide a minimum of 80 par watts, but depending on your space you may want something bigger. Let us know what kind of space you're growing in and we can give you a better idea of what will provide good results.

I'm growing in a larger room. About 20 ft long by 10 ft wide.(that's a rough guess Ill have to mesure tomorrow) I'm planning on starting with 10 seeds. A y advice on what I should be looking for?

12-15 par watts per foot is a good starting point. The actual wattage you will need depends on the efficiency of the emitters in the lamp and how far you want to push the intensity of your grow space. 25-50 watts per foot, depending on several factors. Someone can chime in with a couple brand recommendations. I own a LED company and used to list several good brands and slip mine in there with them, but have leaned away from shilling for my own company here, at least in situations like these where people with little knowledge of LEDs are asking for recommendations. I will say that there are better options, and when you look at the par output rather than the supposed "wattage" they're not necessarily more expensive. If you decide the amount of light you want will cost more than you want to spend you can either look at HID which would be cheap and much better than shifty led companies, or save some money and build your own LED. This is DIY central so if it interests you start reading some of the threads and asking questions.

But you're going to have to pull those lights, either they have to be air-cooled. Or you have to have a hell of air condition system. Don't know what kind of fans you have, but usually inline fans and carbon filters are needed for smell purposes at least, and if using air cooled hoods, they would definitely be advisable
If you like tinkering with electronics or don't mind doing it, DIY COB lights are great. But there is a high overhead buying the material just to build a light. For instance last time I checked in order for me to replace my thousand watt air cooled light to build a DIY light to replace it would cost around 1000 US dollars. I'm hoping the prices of LED drop, they are great lights to use.
But don't fall for some cheap LED light and think it's going to actually produce any decent yields, just look around it doesn't happen. You have to pay significant significantly higher prices did the cheaper ones you see on Amazon or other sites,

No I plan on just starting in the corner of the room and eventually grow more as I get more experienced and can start cloning

HOnesty I run one light per room, u would be better suited getting info from someone with multiple lights. Depending on your gead room some of the DE's are doing well but HPS is going to be your most inexpensive route in the initial cost. runin COB lights, the only led's worth geting IMO, are going to cost a fortune to cover that area. Goood luck and look at some growers with larger grows, I am not one of them.

The basic recipe seems to be 4 cxb-3590 running off one meanwell hlg-185-c1400b driver. Your choice of heatsinks, active (pc cooler with fan) or passive (large surfboard style). One cxb covers one sq. Ft. if not more.

I am comfortable with electronics as far as connecting the lights and driver, and etc. The heatsinks kinda throw me off, need to do more research on what the best option for me is. I wish the price would drop on them soon, so I can switch my flower room over too. Hell it's going to be a while before I get that veg room switched over. But I wanna do it badly.I got the itch.
