Got my 3590's. Look different....

So I received my cobs today. YAY.
THE 2 4000K'S i ordered look like what I'm used to seeing.
The 3500ks though are all gold colored writing. Not black like I'm used to. Anybody else got this before?

I know that it's their logo but Ive never seen it in gold,
Maybe this is how they print their new bins? I emailed pics to their webmaster logo contact.

More than likely a ( lot variant ) as long as you purchased from a legit source and cree distributor. I'm sure there will be knockoffs flowing in at some point because of the interest. There some cobs from SeoulElectronics but seem to be not as efficient , at least on paper.

The future research & development regarding the evolution of solid state lighting
are going to be funded & done by CREE or by Jerry ?

In other words ...
Which one is going to invest -part of - my (and everybodys ) money ,
so that I (and everybody else ) can have & enjoy better COBs (and their results ) in the future ?

Answer this simple question and you'll figure out ,more or less ,about my " inquiry " ..

Well actually kmog, if you look at the other pic I posted, it is also a CXB3590. It is just 4000k color temp. Yours are all 3500 I'm guessing. Cause I bought (6) 3500's and (2) 4000's

Mine are all 3k. And I think the one posted with a black label is a cxa 3590 not a cxb. The bs all say b3###

NEVER.


I always source my electronic parts from trusted ,official distributors .
I had a brief 'taste " of various asian vendors and their level of ethics ,
at the very start ,when I was building my very first design with small 1 W LEDs ...
Never again .

Yes I think it's a cxa not a cxb. Bs are all labeled as bs on the array.
