Pressed is Best!I'm buying a coffee press as soon I find the right one. Probably a 32oz
eleven o clock coffee with a bong rip of your homegrown is better IMO, IMEmy feeble attemt at plant growth . as a huge cornice breaks off my roof and hit my greenhouse scaring the shit out of meee! mmmmmm gotta grab my thermos . cuz of this thread i pressed a second pot yum.8 o clock coffee is good.
Me too!So you like your coffee like you like your women? Hot, black and strong.

And it goes great with homegrown also.eleven o clock coffee with a bong rip of your homegrown is better IMO, IMEView attachment 3598759my feeble attemt at plant growth . as a huge cornice breaks off my roof and hit my greenhouse scaring the shit out of meee! mmmmmm gotta grab my thermos . cuz of this thread i pressed a second pot yum.
I've got a press and mine's still bitter. Maybe it's the grind? How coarse is yours?Pressed is Best!

I use this 32oz-er, $24 @ Amazon, for me its the perfect size as I drink one press every morning. All parts that touch coffee are glass/stainless except the lid strainer (plastic). A 3- or 4-minute press makes purrrfect java.
I'm too addicted to be a total snob but I do appreciate great coffee, like the AK-roasted Resurrection Bay coffees that @AKDrifter mentioned earlier but gotta say that Costco's "Seattle Mountain Blend" is my go-to brew these days. Its a med roast 100% Arabica and checks all the boxes, black or loaded with half n half... yum! Got a press going right now...
You're probably letting it brew too long. 3 minutes, stir, 3 minutes more and pour.I've got a press and mine's still bitter. Maybe it's the grind? How coarse is yours?
I grind fresh right before I pour, probably a medium grind? But my lady grinds finer. Personally I don't really taste a difference between the grinds other than having more sludge, and a stiffer press with the fine. Really, more than the grind courseness making it bitter I'd think it'd be the beans, you might try a different blend, or roast?I've got a press and mine's still bitter. Maybe it's the grind? I go shorter- pour, stir immediately, plunge enough to submerge all the beans then press at 3-4 minutes. You're probably letting it brew too long. 3 minutes, stir, 3 minutes more and pour.
no shame. those are what italians use for coffee/espressoMy mother brought that coffee maker with her from Cuba over 60yrs ago. I've been using it for years and years, bought a new gasket for it last week. It makes coffee everyday, sometimes twice a day.
That percolator makes the best coffee I've ever had...
That smoking device looks like a glass joint. The two pieces of glass fit each other like a sliding telescope, you can pack a small bowl or fill the whole thing up like a glass joint.
Have a good day! I'm having my café soon
This article estimates that 90% of Italian homes have one! My entire childhood that exact coffee maker sat on the stove. I bought a modern stainless steel one, but I still prefer the original aluminum.no shame. those are what italians use for coffee/espresso
they arent pretty, they look like shit all the time
but they work and they last
