This whole caucus thing is really shitty, just let everyone vote n count em up.. This is more time consuming and less accurate.. Iowans are some ignorant hayseeds to stick with this antiquated system.

I lived in Boise for a time. They use caucus process there too. It took more time, hence was more likely attended by the most avid party supporters. The Idaho caucus could go on all evening. It was a meet and greet kind of event for the insiders. Personally, I thought it archaic. I was glad to participate but it did feel like a step back in time.

I think a poll would have represented the general electorate's will better than the caucus. At one caucus, it got late and we had to leave before a re-vote so ultimately our votes were not counted at the end.

The whole Iowa has first primary is bullshit. All the primaries should be pin the same day
