“This doesn’t mean this is happening today. It needs to go through the normal appropriations process,” Snyder said.

If this was something real important like busting unions, he would have had a late night closed door meeting to rush it through without debate. This guy is an asshole!!

Our state gov't has become a social experiment for how much people will take. I will help Flint because they are my neighbors and in my neighborhood we help each other. But as a Michiganian, I'm embarrassed.

We really need to get over the political bullshit of trying to hold politicians and bureaucrats accountable, as that will likely never happen. We know that today it takes a ton of lawyers and years of litigation as the facts of the matter just get buried in the process and they/we move on ...

Politics won't fix anything in Flint, it never has. We the people need to concentrate on the scientific, medical and engineering communities to fix the true problem the people of Flint face today with their water. Democrat and Republican bickering won't fix this problem regardless of the fact it was at fault.

What can you tell us about the lead leaching from the pipes into Flint's drinking water? How bad is it actually and how do we fix it?

Clue: Neither Synder or his political affiliation are the answer ...

Start being a part of the solution and stop being part of the problem.
