New Grow . Equipment Good?

So im gunna start a new grow soon & i need to start ordering parts.
ill probably grow mostly fem seeds. & move into cloning mothers separate tents etc. after this year. want to get a few grows under my belt. 4-6 week veg.

gunna set it up in this closet if i can control temps. think itll work?

(im tempted to go for a 600w but as ive never grown in an apartment im worried it will be too much and this is for personal use.)

Now my important question is should I go with a 190 cfm filter fan combo or the 440 combo.

I WAS LOOKING AT 440 IT SAYS NET WEIGHT 5LB? MY FILTER MUST WEIGHT AT LEAST 40LB BY ITSELF MADE OUT OF PLASTIC DONT NO STRANGE

Go filter > hood > fan

You can put the fan outside of the tent.

And the more bends in duct the lower your cfm will be.

This is a 600w ipower with the same hood. The area is 30"x44". These hoods are pretty good. Mine cracked and I had to repair with epoxy. It cracked at the flange for the duct. Over all a good hood tho.

If you're going to go with the 400w you'd probably be ok with just a 190cfm. If you have somewhere to exhaust the hot air to, like another room or somewhere other than the closet, you could probably get away with a 600w and a 440cfm fan. I have almost the exact same setup, with a 600w in the same size tent, and I have no problem keeping the temps where I need them to be as long as I'm exhausting the hot air in to a different room then my tent is in

Yeah. Didn't know you were planning to still use it. If you go with the tent make sure the surrounding air in there will be circulated and exchanged as well, heat will build up in that tight area. If I wanted to still use the closet I would build a wall and insulate it, to section off that back area. That's like 3'x3' right?

more like a 4x4 and a L shape. but i think im gunna go with the tent.
as u can see the closet door has 2 vents on the top and bottom of it. & i have no problem leaving the door open allday
